Saturday: when I posted my update last night, I had intended to go right to bed. Something I'd seen aroused my curiosity, though: my Blizzard launcher seemed to indicate that I had access to the Midnight early access event. This puzzled me a bit, as I distinctly recall choosing not to purchase a version of the expansion that came with early access, but it's possible I overlooked something. I logged into WoW, and sure enough, I was able to travel to the Midnight starting instance successfully, and I ended up playing until I'd gained a level, logging off at 4 AM.
This morning, I naturally did not wake up early. I did eventually treat the cats, get cleaned up, and drove us to our errands. We did our usual PetSmart / Taco Bell trip, but we interrupted our regular routine for a trip to the Crossing. At Old Navy, Julie got more slacks for work, while I bought a pair of slip-on shoes appropriate for our upcoming cruise. We also stopped in at Famous Footwear and HomeGoods, where we bought a couple of 8-photo picture frames. From there, I took us to the grocery store (where I bruised my shin on the shopping cart something fierce) and then home.
While I was able to do our laundry and gather the litter, it was getting late enough in the day that I decided to hold off on vacuuming until tomorrow. Julie cleaned up the living room, the hallway, and made dinner of pork with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We watched Bob while we ate, and after dinner, I logged into Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I made my eighth (elegant) hotel room, after which I made my second facility for the resort: Beachside Eatery. I also considered what kind of house to build section behind my orchard, but I still haven't figured that out yet.
After Julie went to bed, I treated the cats, then logged back into Midnight. I finished the initial Eversong Woods quests and got to the point in the story where they let you choose which zone to visit next. As a War Within enthusiast, I'm eager to get to Harandar, since some of the comments I've read suggest it feels more like a War Within zone that they couldn't squeeze into the previous expansion. However, I decided to follow the Path of Arator, as I was hopeful I'd get to see more from Alonsus Faol. He was one of my favorite characters in Legion, and this entire questline has had plenty of excellent callbacks to that period of the game. I'm really enjoying quests like the one in which you empower the members of Light's Vanguard who are maintaining the Sunwell. It's fantastic to see the priestly champions I'd been responsible for in action once more, and reminiscing about those times. I wanted to maintain my skepticism about this expansion, but I think it's winning me over. Anyway, it's once again after 3 AM, so it's past bedtime.
Friday: I had the second session of my "We Like to Say Yes" training classes at work this morning, so I had to get myself into a presentable state before turning on my camera. We reviewed some example situations that we looked at last week, reviewed two call recordings, and then took our exam before completing the course evaluation. Since so many of us were in the training, the calls were back-to-back as soon as the session ended, so I didn't get much opportunity to work on trade sanctions emails. After work, I talked with David on the phone about my week. For dinner, Julie had made onion-and-ziti pasta, plus a vegetable medley that went heavy on the lima beans. I've got such a surplus of crumbled pecans, I sprinkled them over my vegetables, and I found them to be a satisfying addition. Not really in the mood to watch TV for whatever reason, so I found myself watching Shadowbringers videos from some youtuber who I find a little distasteful. It feels a little unjustified, but this guy looks like, sounds like, and acts like he's a fusion of these two different narcissists I know. Once I convinced myself to stop, I started going through some old browser bookmarks, and I came across Julie's old LiveJournal page, which she got locked out of back in 2009 when she lost access to her university email address. I thought I might go through and post some notes to this website based on our best guesses about what was going on when she made those entries, but I figure I'd better post today's update first, so that's what I've just done. (Some time passes.) And, now that it's nearly 3 AM, I've successfully summarized or copied over pretty much all of Julie's updates from June of 2008 until her account locked in late '09. I'll have to get the rest later, because I need to go to bed.

Wednesday: stayed up way too late collecting my FFXIV accomplishments from yesterday, so I woke up right before my shift this morning. Work was nonstop project work and briefings such that I couldn't really get as much done on projects as I wanted. The sleepiness bad enough that I had to lay down for a 10 minute nap on both my lunch and second breaks. After my shift, we had leftover cheese and broccoli soup while rewatching Dune, as we're going to see the sequel in the theater on Friday.
Tuesday: tried watching a bit of Cunk on Earth while I ate my salad for dinner, but while it was amusing, it didn't hold my interest enough to come back for a second episode.

I didn't get into the Telltale Games much, but for some reason I really liked The Wolf Among Us, even having never read the comics. I think I played through while Julie watched, and we finished today.
Friday: still in Dallas for Mike's wedding. We went to Breadwinner's for brunch; I don't think I was as impressed with the place as I expected to be, based on how much folks were talking it up. We cleaned up pretty well for the selfies we took in the car, and I'm pretty sure the wedding was a good time.

Saturday: played some Dr. Mario on either the Wii or the Wii U. I'm pretty sure the Wii U wasn't out yet.
