Saturday: a drizzly day. I drove us north of town, as I'd requested that we eat at Jollibee for lunch. We picked up Petsmart supplies at a nearby location first, and we were astonished at both how busy the restaurant was and how expensive the meal I'd ordered turned out, considering that the quality of the food was no better than any other fast food place we've eaten; this wasn't quite on the level of that Popeye's chicken sandwich craze that gripped the nation a few years ago. Still, this didn't feel like such a burden that I wouldn't jump through the hoop to unlock a reward in FFXIV. After we finished eating, I drove us back to our Acme for our groceries, and we then headed home. I did some laundry and got the litter, while Julie focused on the dishes. Once we were both settled in the living room, I did my rounds in Tomodachi Life and AC: New Horizons; Julie made us a "bell peppers and beef" concoction in the pressure cooker to be eaten over rice for dinner. While we ate, we watched as Hercule Poirot unveiled the trio of criminal enterprises surrounding End House in St. Looe. After we ate, I switched to the PS3 and began the first of the Trevor storylines in GTAV until far too late.
Friday: woke up early, but I was too comfortable with the cats on me to get up when I should have, and by the time I found a parking garage, I was late for my specialist appointment. I was fortunate that they still had time to see me, so I got to undergo an on-site test, and I got equipped with a take-home test. On my way home, Julie texted to suggest I pick up from the halal cart for our lunch. It was as delicious as ever, and after lunch, I spent a while making a tent for John out of the blankets in the office. Almost wound up drowsing, but I got up in time to have a cup of yogurt and to write this update. I clocked into work for the second half of my shift, but the day was pretty uneventful. Once work ended, we decided to try to walk down to something like 5th and Oregon for a water ice, but the truck failed to make its appointment. We ended up going to a brick-and-mortar further west before walking home with our treats. I ordered a gelati, which is a combination of the water ice with a scoop of ice cream in it; I orderd mint chocolate chip for both flavors. I love chocolate chips. Back home, we ate some of the leftovers and watched some Enterprise before bed.
Thursday: waste of a day, honestly. I couldn't get to sleep at a reasonable time, and when I did, it was on the living room floor. I then crashed in the bedroom until the afternoon. Missed my opportunity to grab lunch for today and tomorrow, so I just had the last of the cereal. My number one plan was to work on Moondrop Isle, but between cat drama and then the need to get through an alarming volume of leftovers, I didn't accomplish much on that front. Also played some Hearthstone due to the new nerf/buff patch. Pirate rogue seems to be working alright for me. To add indignity to injury, the deodorant I bought last time I was at the store doesn't seem to be accomplishing much. Been sweating a lot despite (or because of?) the temperatures, such that I feel like I need to take a shower both before and after I go to bed.
IS THE COUGH STILL HERE? NO

Saturday: seems like Julie's ready for us to be done with student loans, if her social media posts are any indication.

Thursday: the official trailer for Saints Row 4 came out, and Julie was psyched.

Monday: this morning I interviewed at the storage facility, then spent the evening reading about game mechanic philosophy behind different Priest specializations in World of Warcraft and how they varied between pre- and post-Cataclysm implementation. My werewolf game also ended: the wolves banded together with me and Niku to lynch the last vampire, triggering their victory condition, but Niku survived as the weretiger, meaning everybody else lost. It was tragic.
