Monday: woke up a couple of hours early, which allowed me to update my website, get some Tomodachi Life in, and clear out a bunch of groups before my shift started. The shift itself was unremarkable. Napped on my first break and most of my lunch; took a shower on my second break. After work, Julie was again napping before trivia, but we soon walked over. It was cool enough that I wore my new, reversible jacket. Between the hockey game and the comfortable weather, we feared a large crowd, and we were right to be concerned; we were seated at our usual two-top, which was pretty close to two very large parties. Julie struggled to endure the overheard conversations. I had a stromboli, while she tried one of the soups. We struggled on a number of the quizzo questions, and we ended up coming in fourth place. As the evening wore on, I found myself watching as the furniture was removed from Birds of Prey, the salon across the street. Seems like they must be relocating. After we returned home, I briefly checked in on my island again, treated the cats, and soon logged into work: I spent the next seven hours (!) working the groups I needed to be caught up on Tuesday. To keep myself alert, I progressively found myself shedding articles of clothing in spite of the cold; I also listened to a random selection of music on youtube, and I got a little corny on my tumblr account. Anything to keep my focus up.
Sunday: woke up early and had a bowl of cereal for breakfast. As I was getting cleaned up, Julie informed me that Amy was already at the corner, so we hurried to meet her. We took the subway up to South Street, then walked to a bar where their bocce teammate Steve was waiting for the Liverpool versus Spurs game. As usual, Julie ordered something with buffalo ranch, while I got a chicken sandwich with some excellent fries. I tried to make notes toward an interactive fiction game I've been thinking about, but I got too caught up in the conversation, so I just switched to Hearthstone. Amy used to play that, as well, so she enjoyed reminiscing about how much it would upset her ex whenever she beat him.
Once they'd had all they wanted to drink after the game ended, we walked down to PetSmart for John's treats, then cut across to Flavors on the Ave. They debated whether various passersby were people they knew, while I pondered the smells and sights. (The highlight for me was a booth with a sign: "FREE DATING ADVICE".) I loved the smells, but I'm always a little put out whenever we go to a food-centric festival and don't actually eat anything. We ended up standing around near Juana Tamale and talking for 30 to 45 minutes. Once standing up grew too uncomfortable, we walked our respective ways.
Back home, I played a bunch of Blue Prince while snacking on the nuts we'd picked up yesterday. Julie made a frittata for dinner, and since we've been hitting the TV pretty hard lately, we continued in our own pursuits into the evening. Around 10:40, I talked with my parents on the phone, then brought my Blue Prince session to a close just after I unlocked the last of the permanent exterior upgrades I'd been missing. Now I'm posting this update.
Saturday: after my efforts on Moondrop Isle last night, I decided not to push things, and I went to bed at a pretty reasonable time in the office. John didn't prefer this to his current routine of sleeping in the living room, so it was just me and whichever cats decided to make use of the heating pad over the course of the night. I rolled out of bed in the morning and went right to work, which was a good day for catching up on projects. While I was working, Julie went out to some new friends' place and took some photos with their dog. We had leftover cheeseburger soup for dinner, and I crashed early, only to wake up a little before 1 AM. I'm now posting this before my final(?) Moondrop Isle sprint.
Thursday: I had a long and irritating day at woork, my cold continued to cause coughing and sinus congestion, I was unkempt from days of convalescence, but I did make progressin Final Fantasy XIV. (This was... the trial at the bottom of the Aetherial Sea, nearing the end of the 6.0 MSQ.) While my FC leader joined me to get through the queue faster, I didn't get very far into the zone after that before I had to stop for the night.

Thursday: broke up a cat fight the night before last, and sustained a pretty good scratch on the neck in the process. Was this in the townhouse? I think this was in the townhouse.

Tuesday: went to my parents' house at 5 to get fitted for wedding attire. Julie was still at work, but I invited her to call me so we could coordinate dinner.
Monday: went up to my elbows in cat poop. I did not otherwise explain the circumstances.
