Monday: dragged myself out of bed after a late night working on Moondrop Isle. I was expecting to take calls at work today, but I forgot that I was also scheduled to have call observers this week, so I'll be taking calls all day Monday and Tuesday for the benefit of new trainees. At least on Wednesday, I'm providing call monitoring chat support instead.
It was just Julie and me at trivia again, tonight. Tried the Stogie Joe-style stromboli this week, but I don't think I prefer it to the pepperoni and cheese. (Julie continued with her buffalo wings.) Thanks to the pleasant weather, they had the garage door open again, but we got seated at a table in the back by the bathrooms. While I was able to contribute more correct answers than usual, we also had more confidently-wrong answers than usual. The music was all from 2004 this week, but we didn't even both trying to calculate our placement.
Back at home, I realized I'd need to pick up more of the Temptations lickable treat spoons that John has become very enthusiastic for, so I hustled to the Acme 20 minutes before they closed and bought enough for the week. While John and Isabel love these things, the kittens are content with that wet food I bought accidentally, and Mim seems to prefer the dry treats that we'd been distributing ever since Cliff came to live with us.
Thanks to the warm weather, I've had the windows open, and today I finally got the desk fan out of the storage shelf and set it up in my workspace. I've been catching up on stuff since getting back home, and now that I have this update, I need to get back to working on Moondrop Isle rooms and scenery descriptions.
Saturday: we went to Taco Bell followed by the store. I didn't have a lot on my list, but we did pick up the stuff to make taco soup, which we haven't had in a long while. Back home, I mostly basked in the afterglow of the FFXIV main quest while catching up on spoiler discussion I'd missed over the year I was catching up. I brought the Surface into the kitchen for music while chopping the onion and getting everything put together, and it made for a nice dinner while we watched Leverage. I also posted on facebook about how this was the week in which the cats had been in Philadelphia for one year.
