Friday: I had a slow morning owing to my late night of FFXIV and WoW. This comprised waking up in the office, napping on the bed for a bit, and then moving into the bedroom to nap with Mim and the kittens some more. Around 11, I got up properly to confirm with Julie that we weren't doing anything special for lunch; since we have all day together tomorrow, we decided to fend for ourselves. I had a bowl of cereal.
After lunch, I made some health- and finance-related phone calls I'd been putting off, and I spent a while shaving and getting cleaned up. John and I are both a little bit bored of our routines, as he's looking for a lot of attention, while I'm not ready to continue the long youtube video playlists I've been following so far. (The two playlists in question are Crystal's Ace Attorney playthrough and Grinding Gear's live Dawntrail playthrough.) For variety, I watched an old Dead Rising playthrough, as the upcoming remake made me a little curious about the parts of the game I'd never seen.
It's been a while since we had taco soup, so I put that together for our evening meal. Julie had to remind me that she has an enormous supply of taco seasoning that I keep forgetting about. The soup came together great, and with the same reasoning from earlier in the day, we indulged in our own pursuits: me watching youtube and playing Hearthstone and WoW in the office, while Julie started another DS9 binge. We took a break long enough to share flowers for the latest Pocket Camp gardening event. Afterwards, I saw that Ryan's discord has embarked on some sort of puzzle spree, but I think I'm just going to go to bed.
Wednesday: my work contact was out of the office again today, so it looks like this week's project is going to be a little delayed, though we're far enough ahead that this isn't a problem. John and Cliff spent a lot of time on my desk. After Julie ws done with work, she started more apartment reorganization to address some of of the overloaded storage areas we've gotten a little too comfortable with over the last year: the bathroom shelves, the space-saver over the toilet, and closets in both bedrooms. I need to work on some of my own areas, particularly the game shelves, which runneth over with mismatched junk like notebooks and salt shakers and keyboard accessories. For now, I just finished my salad for dinner and continued my YouTube binge, though I did knock out a bunch of Hearthstone quests that had been piling up.
