Monday: good work shift, picked up a Newbold lunch, and at the end, we went to Stogie Joe's for Quizzo. It had been overcast and rainy such that we work jackets and jeans. This was the week that the local team to beat, "Steve Buscemi's Eyes," were joined by a new rival team: "Owen Wilson's Nose". Jimmie's return was marked by harder questions; we averaged 6 points a round, with no danger of placing in the rewards tiers. As soon as we got home, I played way too much Satisfactory. I'm almost into Tier 4, but I need to reconfigure my setup to start making reinforced steel beams.
Saturday: Not thrilled to be back at work and struggling to catch up on projects while also answering calls, but I did get to finish my hoagie from Newbold Cafe for lunch. Julie picked up more groceries while I worked, so my grape supply has been renewed. Got out of work an hour early since my booster appointment had been delayed. We also got flu shots, so this is a weekend for getting wrecked by our bodies' recovery processes. I made the pressure cooker goulash for dinner, and we started watching Star Trek: Lower Decks while we ate. I lost consciousness for a while in the wicker orb chair before getting up long enough to post this update.
