Saturday: lately I've been so preoccupied with media like The Amazing Digital Circus (which has released six episodes so far; I've watched through them four or five times in the last 48 hours) and TYPE HELP (spent the last 24 hours in a fugue state completing the game) and similar distractions that it's now been a week since my last update. Just gonna post the update for today first and work my way backwards, so if the past week has been a little spare on details, that's why.
Julie woke me up pretty early so she could demonstrate the knocking sound coming from the toilet, but we didn't end up doing anything to address the situation yet. She had me replace the towel draped over the ceiling tiles under the leak, and I brought the rest of the towels from the floor to the basement to be washed, as well. I took a shower after that, and I drove us to Taco Bell for lunch. I didn't have time for a Hearthstone game, so I just caught up on website updates while we ate. We also went by the store for groceries, but it was nice to not stop into Home Depot for once.
Back home, I got the litter, and Julie put away the groceries. I volunteered to make dinner tonight, and I used the food processor to slice potatoes and chop up an onion for our favorite scalloped potatoes. While the trays were baking, I cleaned up the rest of the dishes. When the food was ready, I joined Julie for her ongoing watch-through of Leverage. I played a couple of Any Austn videos for her after we stopped, and then I posted this update.
After I finish writing up the past six days of activities, I'll probably get around for bed, and play as much UmaMusume as I can while lying in the office before I fall asleep.
Friday: struggled to get up in the morning, considering I was surrounded by sleepy cats. I had a bowl of cereal for lunch, started some laundry, and took care of the dishes. Once I was finished and Julie was done with work, we walked to Rite Aid to get flu shots and boosters. Back home, I chopped the onion and red potatoes for cheeseburger soup, but I accidentally tore the pull-tab off one of the soup cans in its entirety, so we had to find a way to open a can that wasn't designed to be used with a can-opener. We prevailed, ate dinner, and watched more Buffy. (Turns out I over-estimated how far we were through the season; we had four or five more to go, but we finished the season and started the next. Julie couldn't decide whether sobriety would improve the experience of the series.) Julie eventually went to bed, I treated the cats, and I came in here to post this update.
Wednesday: a pretty good workday, though Julie feels too ill to fulfill her social plans. We had leftovers for dinner while watching the end of the second season of Star Trek: Lower Decks, and after Julie went to bed, I watched this Shadowbringers playthrough I've been following.
Feels like the weather is cooling off, which is nice. Won't have a lot of excess funds for shopping this week, but fortunately our pantry isn't much depleted.

Julie's LiveJournal update today reports that she finished crocheting her first hat this past week; it was a little too tight at first, but it's improving with time and use. She's going to do a potholder next, and almost seventeen years later, I can report that this potholder she'd end up making is still in use.
