Tuesday: finally prepared to do weekly groups on a per-day basis, rather than allowing them to pile up in a queue that I don't progress on until the week is over. That said, I still spent most of my time on reworks (and system upgrades necessitating a reboot), so I only finished two of the day's nine groups; I'll have to do sixteen tomorrow, and it's a day with three hours of training and briefings. Kind of looking forward to my Policy and Procedure briefing, though.
When my shift ended, I thought I might find John on top of Julie in the living room, but she was actually in bed. We both got ready for trivia at Santucci's, where Karly had chosen the theme "GHOSTS" for the spooky season. I once again found my Shakespeare synopsis readings insufficient, as I haven't gotten to Hamlet yet, and I forgot that Jacob Marley is the first ghost to waylay Scrooge before the arrival of the Ghost of Christmas Past. The music round was especially tough, but our team ("The Biggest of Boos") managed to hold onto third place. I love this chicken bacon ranch pizza. When we got back home, I brought out the trash, and then I posted updates for the last five days. I should go to bed soon, since I'm starting work an hour early tomorrow, but I need to do a little bit of mobile gaming first.
Monday: woke up early enough to play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp with Julie before she left for work. Pretty typical work shift, though the sleepiness caught up after the first half of my lunch break. At Quizzo tonight, we sat by the restroom, and I tried the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Pretty good! By contrast, our performance was abysmal. After we got home, I treated the cats and did some treasure maps with the FFXIV crew for the first time since Dawntrail came out due to the tomestone event.
Saturday: my facebook memories suggest that today's a great day for uploading new photo albums, but that's mostly a function of how often we travel in early October. This year we spent a lot of the morning during my work breaks coordinating upcoming travel plans: next week, we have the Select Button meetup in Needmore. The week after that, my parents are coming to town. We are trying to decide when to schedule my familiarization cruise, and my extended family have invited us to Colorado Springs in late December. The main obstacle to all of this is cat care, especially since Mim and Cliff have been getting into scuffles lately. This was the main reason I couldn't get much sleep last night: Cliff wanted into the bedroom, so I had to wake up after only like an hour of sleep to go lie in the office until he settled down on his pad in the corner.
Work kept me busy with a lot of assistance requests, such that I couldn't complete my weekly project before the end of my shift. (I'm expecting a repeat of this experience tomorrow, though I should be able to move onto my accounting project before my time is up.) We finished the scalloped potatoes for lunch, and for dinner, Julie prepared a cabbage and onion soup with a heavy dose of dill. We watched some more Ghosts while eating, but we switched over to Bob's Burgers while we played a game of Civ VI. Unfortunately, multiple declarations of war made for an uproductive experience, and we quit before we'd had three votes in the world congress. She wasn't feeling very good and decided to turn in early. For my part, I'm going to post this update, and play FFXIV on this laptop for the last time before I make it a desktop-only game; I've gotta free up hard drive space for the meetup, just to be safe.

We went to a corn maze and pumpkin patch with Jenny and Mitch. As Mitch posted on Facebook, it was hot, windy, dusty, and corny.
