Thursday: it's my last workday of the week! I had assumed I'd go out to the living room to play games in the evening, but somehow that just didn't end up happening. Julie made a lentils and rice dinner that was extraordinarily hot. I ended up going through a couple bottles of water while eating.
Wednesday: picked up my groceries and Taco Bell for lunch. I spent the evening slicing up potatoes, an onion, and turkey sausage to make our favorite scalloped potatoes recipe for dinner. Unfortunately, I spent the whole evening dealing with a moderation issue at Select Button, so I didn't get to do much of interest this evening.
Monday: although I had the day off, I didn't get much done with it. I slept in too late, and then I pretty much just scooped litter, did laundry, and vacuumed until it was time for us to go shopping. We went over to the Ross off of Oregon for clothes to wear in our family photos next week. I would have liked to get more scratching posts or other cat supplies if they'd had any selection whatsoever, but instead I just stuck with the sweater I'd selected, while Julie picked up an Animal Crossing retheme of Monopoly for $7. I will admit to being tempted by some of the indoor/outdoor slippers, though not enough to commit to a purchase today. We walked to Stogie Joe's for Quizzo a little earlier than needed since it had been so crowded last week; Julie seemed interested in mixing up our usual orders, so I got a bacon burger to go with the Caesar salad appetizer. It was just the two of us on our team this week, though we were very close to a couple of new guys who decided to incorporate George Santos into their team name. I was able to identify all of the instrumental Christmas carols at the end, but it wasn't enough to make up for our earlier misses, and I think we tied for fifth or sixth. I spent the time between rounds reading the latest annotated source code for The Ascent of the Gothic Tower. Now that I'm home, I want to write room descriptions...
