Friday: another day spent almost entirely in recovery. Julie made this zesty ziti pasta we haven't had in a while for dinner, and I watched the replay of the Joseph Anderson Discord Server End of Year Awards for 2023 while I did the dishes in the middle of the night, and I have almost made my name in Fallen London. I just need to boost my Nightmares menace from 2 to 5, and I'll have everything I need to finally become a Person of Some Importance. Also it's like 4:30 AM so I have to go to bed immediately.
Thursday: I had the day off, so I walked to the local credit union to deposit my parents' Christmas check, followed by a trip to the post office to renew my passport. Wound up watching most of a Delta Rune playthrough on youtube. I wanted to make sure I was caught up on the The Little Match Girl games, but it turns out that both Firefox and Edge on my laptop can't finish the opening of The Little Match Girl 3 for some reason, and Chrome itself is busted somehow. Even if I uninstall and reinstall, it won't load any pages, up to and including the Settings or About Chrome internal pages. Not a big deal since I have both my phone and my tablet, if I can ever track it down and recharge it...

Sunday: Julie and I went out to eat with Richard, Glen, and Ron at some bar. The fact that they had an actual food menu in the photo suggests it's not Maggie Mae's, but otherwise I don't recognize the place.

Today, I started my first shift as a Merchandising Execution Associate at The Home Depot, which means I was going through a bunch of training modules. Can't remember if I actually got to work a bay today, but I'm pretty sure once I did, I started in light bulbs. It wouldn't be long before I also got a job at Intrust, which meant I could switch to part-time at THD, but that was weeks (if not months) away.
