Monday: dreamed of Golden Idol-style deduction puzzling. Got up at 7, treated the cats, and switched my WoW priest to disc spec before running a couple of Wrath-era timerunning dungeons, after which I posted yesterday's update on here. Had a pretty productive workday, and immediately afterward, we walked over to Stogie Joe's for our first Quizzo after the cancellation scare a couple of weeks ago. We ended up seated by the ATM right next to Julie's favorite competitor. Went through my stromboli in a hurry, and while we tied for a placing position, we didn't get any questions right in the tiebreakers. Back home, I treated the cats, then did the last two Wrath-era timewalking dungeons I needed as disc priest for the weekly quest. I stayed up too late playing, but I eventually got to bed. I've only been signing into UmaMusume long enough to do my ten free pulls per day, which is a pretty good sign that I shouldn't continue playing this much longer. I'll probably keep up this minimal level of play until Aston Machan is added, spend my carats in her acquisition, and wind down from there.
Sunday: typical workday, and Julie made potato and lentil soup for dinner. Since we watched TV last night, tonight we pursued our own interests. Mostly watched a Joseph Anderson Umineko stream while playing various games, mostly Hearthstone and WoW.
Friday: Julie was interested in going out to eat for lunch, so we walked over to Fountain Porter. The cheeseburgers are decent, if you're okay with a drippy burger, and though I don't really like sweet potato fries, these are the best such I've ever had. I had a cider, though it may have been a little early for that.
After we got back, I spent an hour on the phone with David, same as every time he calls lately. For dinner, I made spaghetti. We caught up on Trailer Park Boys, and the season finale was a big change of pace. I played more Fallen London, finishing the tale of Ol' Fritz.
Thursday: I crashed for around four hours after my all-nighter, getting up just in time for work. Julie had one of her nights out, so as soon as work ended, I went out to the living room and napped with some cats until they woke me up for their nightly treat at 10. I had more of Wednesday's goulash for dinner. After Julie returned and we finished catching up on our respective evenings, I turned to the problem of figuring out how to extract the Vorple transcript I'd created the previous day. Broco on SB recommended using ChatGPT to generate the console command to extract the data, and while it took a few hours of work, I was ultimately able to do so. I was actually in bed again before 5:30 AM!

Saturday: we joined my family in a bar (in Kansas City, I think?) to celebrate my uncle Roger's birthday. His band played.
