Monday: for my figurative Friday, I had my usual shift of trade sanctions emails and a couple of phone calls in the second half of my shift. Julie and I had our Monday night quizzo, where we sat at the bar and had our lighter menu options. Our performance was not outstanding, but at least we outperformed the team Julie considers her rivals. When we got back home, I did some World of Warcraft delves, as I'd been neglecting the activity, and the season 1 rewards will be removed soon.
Saturday: started my work week with project work and stressing about my cruise benefit. When Julie went shopping, she brought Taco Bell back for lunch. On breaks, I watched Preach's FFXIV playthrough from when he finished the ARR original MSQ. Julie baked some cookies to take with her to a friend's place, so I had leftover goulash while watching Delicious in Dungeon. Drowsed on the sofa for a bit, but once she was done, I came back to the office to work on my programming and sign into github for what turned out to be something like the third non-consecutive day ever.
Friday: been a while since I had to deal with nine consecutive days of work. This was a genuine Friday, though, and I continued working on my project. Thought it might have been the last day, but leadership confirmed we're to continue our data validation and entry process until instructed otherwise, so I'm hoping this goes on for a while longer yet. Julie made a huge supply of shrimp fried rice for dinner, and it was fantastic. We resumed a saved Civ game in the evening that she was able to turn into a diplomatic victory after only a couple of dozen turns. We both got Steam trophies in the process. I wound up falling asleep in the living room.

On the tumblr mobile app, I got pretty frustrated about the fact that it says I'm following 95 blogs, but when I tap on the "Following" menu item, it says that I'm not following anybody. I posted screenshots to complain.

"I love this TNT show Leverage. It's terribly entertaining. I recommend it to anyone.
"The Oscar's were also very entertaining and I loved that Slumdog won best picture. Mickey Rourke, however, was robbed! Robbed I say! He was excellent in the Wrestler.
"So, since the phd thing doesn't appear to be working out so well so I'm thinking of going to med school for forensic pathology. There will always be job openings for that position. Who knows if the thought will turn into reality.
"We acquired a second kitty named Gus from my friend Liz. Angel pretty much hates the entire situation. Lots of hissing and growling. He has a five pound size advantage, but she has the claws."
