Friday: woke up earlier than I had yesterday, but I was barely holding myself together consciousness-wise. Finally brought yesterday's cleaned laundry back upstairs, and after Julie finished with work, we started reviewing our luggage and packing for the cruise. I forgot to have lunch, but after Julie went out for the evening, I had my share of the gumbo Julie had made for dinner last night. Since Adult Swim is likely to delist their games on Steam, I picked up Westerado and a couple others, in addition to Unicorn Overlord for PS4 per discussion yesterday.
Wednesday: managed to get up early enough to have breakfast at home before I went shopping. I went to the smaller Acme store that's closer. After she finished with work, Julie prepared a rice dish I enjoyed, though I can't remember most of the components... peanuts and tofu, but I'm sure there was more I'm now forgetting.

Saturday: for better or worse, this was the date I first started keeping a personal journal. I felt it was important to report that life felt hectic. I had BSA meetings on Mondays, a PLC meeting on one Tuesday a month, a class on interpreting the book of Revelations on Wednesday nights, and our Scottish Country Dance classes on Friday nights. Saturdays are a mix of tournaments for debate/forensics and BSA campouts, while Sundays I'm in some sort of drama group at church. I was excited to discover that my Discman can fast-forward and rewind within a song by holding the button down, despite having no real use for such a feature. I wrote some grandiose nonsense about friendship because I apparently didn't have any other way of processing how pretty the girls at church were. It's no coincidence that I planned to start going to an earlier Sunday school class tomorrow. Predating the current music feature on LiveJournal by two full years, I reported my music of the moment as James Horner's Battle in the Mutara Nebula. Apparently I wrote this right before bed?? It's no wonder my habits from high school set me on a lifestyle of insomnia.
