Saturday: let's count the unforced errors.
1: stayed up too late the night before. Maybe this should be number 0, because it always applies.
2: while I set an alarm that would have gotten me up at 7 after 4 hours of sleep, I failed to confirm that my volume settings were enabled. I slept through my alarm.
Not an error: I took a shower, got dressed, and got to PENNDOT less than half an hour after opening. A line had formed outside, but I arrived just as the security guard was bringing in everybody who was only there for license photos, so I got to skip the line. My ticket was # 108, and # 106 was being served when I sat in the waiting area.
3: somehow I've internalized the ideas that "you smile with your eyes" and "it's good to open your mouth when you smile." This may be fine in most circumstances, but in photos, it makes me look like I'm Harry DuBois doing "the Expression." The photo I took at PENNDOT today demonstrates this well.
4: when the clerk offered to let me retake the photo, I declined, not wanting to be a bother.
We have some time without errors for a while after that, in which I drove back home to pick up Julie. She came out to let me know she wasn't ready to leave yet, so I parked and then killed five minutes in the office while she got dressed. I drove us to get pet snacks, and we decided to get Little Sicily II for lunch. For once, the parking lot wasn't a catastrophe. I got some sort of pizza cheesesteak, which beats the stromboli I'd ordered before both in ease of consumption and in minimizing wait-time. Had some good rounds of Hearthstone while we ate, and we then continued to the store. The shopping went well, so I drove us back home, but I need to interject another error here.
5: I (previously) failed to update my doctors with my new medical coverage, which means...
6: I was unable to request a refill of my prescription. I would have picked it up from the pharmacy at this point if I hadn't missed those steps.
Those issues aside, we came home, and Julie unpacked the groceries and took care of the living room and restroom, while I got the litter and started my laundry. I wanted to take care of the vacuuming next, but John seemed like he needed to tent. Surely it wouldn't be a problem if I just lie in bed for a bit?
7: Lying in bed for a bit was a problem.
I did have the good sense to put my C-PAP on before falling asleep, and John did enjoy sleeping in the tent under the blankets and my legs, but I slept for a couple of hours and missed my window to vacuum today, so that's going to happen tomorrow instead. I moved into the kitchen to make meatloaf, roasted potatoes, and broccoli. Knowing this was going to take more than an hour and a half in the oven, did I immediately begin the preparatory process?
8: No. I logged into UmaMusume: Pretty Derby to finish a my second TrackBlazer career. This didn't take too long, but I really should have waited until the food was all in the oven to do that.
That aside, dinner came together well, and we were eating by 8 PM. Julie offered me a gummy, but any effect it had on me was pretty subdued. After the Bob's Burgers season finale two-parter, I logged into Animal Crossing for a bit, where I made "the best vacation home on the block." (This was not my best work; it was just a bunch of giant novelty furniture crammed into a house that looked like a mystical ruin in a cave, but I wouldn't call that an error, at least.) After Julie went to bed, I fed the cats their nightly treats, and then...
9: I logged into Overwatch again. The battle pass/automatic queueing system makes it too easy to lose hours to this, and while I'm finding characters I enjoy playing more, I'm still losing more than I'm winning. Also, this meant I was staying up additional hours.
10: having just stayed up until after 4 AM, rather than go to bed, I wrote this long update and then planned to crash in the office. This is probably inadvisable, but I'm going to do it anyway.
Friday: though I may have avoided calls yesterday, today was the opposite, as we had to back up the reservations team. Nevertheless, the day went well. Julie had evening plans with Amy, so she stepped out shortly before my shift ended. I reheated the last of the taco soup for dinner, and I used my evening to check in on the latest events in FFXIV and WoW. (In the latter, I wrapped up the "Undermine(d)!" storyline, short of completing the raid.)
Thursday: slept in really late, did a load of laundry, and eventually set out to do some light shopping. Decided to risk the so-far awful Wendy's for a late lunch, but since there was no lunch crowd, I got to eat the best chicken sandwich they've ever managed to serve me. Most of the stuff I picked up at the store was cat food and cat treats, though I did pick up breakfast bars again for a change of pace. Had to reposition the car after I got back home, since the street's going to be closed for roadwork a couple of times before we'll need to move it again. I had my half of the leftover spaghetti for dinner while watching the next segment of Lauren's Undertale Yellow livestream, and I updated about half the pages on this website to fix a display error in the title. (If the title is the same tealish green as an unvisited link, then the title is fixed on the page you're viewing! If the title is the purple of a visited link, then it hasn't been fixed yet.) Once the stream ended, I continued updating my zone for Moondrop Isle. I am very excited about the design work Nils and Ryan have put in so far on the webpage which will host the game, and we've just secured assistance from someone (who I shall not yet name) for even better aesthetic production value. Around midning, I logged into World of Warcraft briefly for the Hearthstone anniversary crossover event before bed.

Saturday: on US calendars, today is "03/14/15", or the most authentic Pi Day of all Pi Days. Did you know that I memorized the first 40 or so digits of pi when I was a kid? I memorized the first 40 or so digits of pi when I was a kid.

Saturday: we played tennis. I played poorly, in part because my sport of preference is racquetball. My approach to playing racquetball does not translate well to a sport with no ceiling or walls off of which to bounch the ball.
