Saturday: flight to Orlando!
1312 - at the airport waiting to grab lunch. Spent the morning doing last-minute cleanup around the apartment and prepping cat supplies. The Uber to the airport was less notable than the one in December. Not sure yet whether I'm going to regret not bringing more pre-cruise entertainment; I've got my phone and The Sot-Weed Factor, and that's it. No 3DS, no laptop, no notebook if my phone dies.
1654 - nearing Orlando in the plane. I sat back in 20C, while Julie is closer to 10C. I played a little bit of Vampire Survivors, but mostly I napped on the flight. It seems like one of the girls in the seats in front of me is only communicating through black metal growling.
2009 - after landing, we made our way to the baggage claim where we arrived at the exact moment that our bag was making its way around the carousel. Julie ordered an uber, and soon we checked into Days Inn. It's a typical hotel room, though for some reason the TV was already on when we entered. After resting for a bit, we walked across the highway to Waffle House for dinner. Julie had a breakfast combo, while I ordered a cheeseburger with hash browns. Seemed pretty good for being diner food. Once we finished and paid, we walked to a gas station to pick up a couple bottles of Moscato and other snacks, including a can of Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast. We came back to the hotel, where Julie got our bags situated for tomorrow morning's plans, and we settled in to catch up on our websites while a "The First 48 Hours" marathon played on the TV.
0048 - we finally had enough of the crime marathon on TV and did our in-app muster training for onboard emergency procedures before bed. I played some HS and VS and ACPC. Since it's after midnight at it'll be a pain to get to later on, here's the facebook memories from today: in 2013, Julie found my collection of handmade napkin mice from elementary school. That's it for today!

Saturday: we're in Dallas. We went to a bar called the Monk with Scott and Jenny and Mike and Jeni. It was great weather.

Monday: we came home to cat puke. Fifteen years later, that would be so commonplace that it wouldn't earn a remark.
