Sunday: it's my last day in Resolutions, so I did my weekend chat support floorwalking, along with all the Trade Sanctions emails for April and my last oustanding follow-up. On my breaks, I watched some early Tears of the Kingdom gameplay videos to prepare myself to return to that game after I finish with Unicorn Overlord. Julie made a fried tofu stir fry for dinner. Since we'll be at trivia for the next two nights, we decided to eat separately; I watched the first bit of Joseph Anderson's 1000x Resist archived footage and tried to adjust a weird deathrattle warlock Hearthstone deck that isn't working right yet. After I put the food away, I napped with the cats in the bedroom for a couple of hours, but I got back up when the cats were ready for evening treats. I came in here to post the updates for today and the past two days, after which I want to go back to the living room for more Unicorn Overlord... though hopefully not staying up quite as late, this time around. (I went out to the living room when John got antsy, but he didn't stick around very long. I played two missions: the one with the plague doctors, and the one with the sand storms. I started coming to bed right at 4 AM.)
Saturday: we didn't get much sleep last night because of how quickly Koop's situation seemed to be deteriorating, so Julie took her into the emergency vet as soon as they opened since I was going to have to work. She called me from the vet because the situation was more dire than we had realized: her kidneys were failing, much like Mosaic's had. From what the vets were saying, any course of treatment we adopted was likely to be a coin toss at this point, and even if we could get her on a road to recovery, the treatment plan was such that her quality of life would be pretty bad. She fought any attempt to medicate her far more than any of our other cats have, so we felt like we couldn't further prolong her suffering.
Despite these devastating circumstances (to say nothing of my ongoing cold), I was home in with time to spare before work. Julie managed to get some sleep, and she eventually went to the store and picked up Taco Bell on the way home. I managed to take some calls before my throat started to hurt, and otherwise did plenty of work on my projects.
After my shift ended, I joined Julie in the living room where we tried to nap our way through mourning with limited success. We eventually warmed up the leftover pizza while watching some Abbott Elementary, and I needed something I could zone out with on my computer, so I loaded up Paradise Killer as I'd never finished collecting all the trinkets which that game leaves lying around everywhere for its players who don't know when to quit. I didn't manage to collect everything I was missing tonight, but I'm pretty close,. Should probably go to bed now, though.
IS THE COUGH STILL HERE: YES
Thursday: at work, I got the go ahead to continue the project. This was also the third day of Joseph Anderson's 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim streams, and I caught that Disco Elysium playthrough I'd been pretty invested in, too.
Wednesday: we went to the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology today.

Saturday: joined Julie, Scott, Jenny, Cecilia (and Ryan? Julie didn't tag him, if so) for bowling, among other activities. This was one of those days where I couldn't break 100. I've bowled a fair few times in my life, but increasingly it hurts my fingers.

Thursday: was WildStar still in operation at this point? Because Steam reports that this was the last time I plaed it, but I'm pretty sure it was offline already. I loved the character creator and the player housing tools. Emit really tried to sell Carl and me on playing this before it came out, but once it was here, it fell by the wayside pretty quick. Anyway, I took a selfie in font of that cat clock Julie's parents got us, which has stopped functioning.

Wednesday: still trying to post Fallen London updates, but the username I selected ("A.") apparently causes some problems by terminating in punctuation. The only way they could fix it was by having me just change to another username.
