Today is my mom's birthday!
Saturday: stayed up too late waiting to start the dishes last night, so I was very glad to be having a slow day of chat support at work. I was also able to can catch up on my projects. During my breaks, I listened to a little bit of a Castle Super Beast podcast I forgot that I'd already listened to, and then I watched the end of another Endwalker stream vod. Julie went to the store for groceries and brought back Taco Bell again.
We are still devastated by the loss of Cliff and Koop, but at least none of the other cats show any signs of decline.
Julie decided to make dinner so we could have the leftovers when I've got my project night tomorrow. She made that stir fry with fried tofu over brown rice that she's done two or three times before. We watched more Poirot while we ate, and after I finished eating, I played a few rounds of Hearthstone prior to Peggle Nights as a way to keep my hands occupied while watching Poirot's return from retirement and subsequent trip to Baghdad. After we finished watching, I called Mom to wish her happy birthday; I've got a card ready, and I need to have one of our photos printed so we can mail it to her. I played a little SpaceChem before falling asleep in the egg.

Thursday: called Mom to check in and wish her happy birthday. They're busy watching the girls since Kelly has her hands full with the new baby. 13 Sentinels continues, and I did catch a bit of that Disco Elysium stream, as well.

Friday: we're driving to Missouri, and the strength of the wind is threatening to push us off the road. Julie recorded a video to show just how windy it is.

Saturday: we're hanging out with people like Tara and Jenny and Liz, based on Liz's photo of us on a deck. I appear to be wishing that I was wearing a jacket, as I'm just wearing My long-sleeve grey flannel shirt, and the way I've got my arms crossed seems like I'm chilly. Everybody's got big smiles, though.

Wednesday: this may be unsurprising, considering my trip to CHESM, but I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. Julie played more GTA:SA and got the last of the oysters before starting in on the horseshoes. I napped on the sofa under various cats.
To celebrate Mom's birthday, we joined my family at Olive Garden. Attendees my parents included Steve, Shannon, and Griffin. (I played a lot of "I spy" with him while waiting for my ziti to arrive.)
After we got back home, Julie gathered more horseshoes until handing off to me, and I started wrapping up GTA4. I mishandled it, so I have to try again later.
