Thursday: the 80 degree F temperatures continue. Since I had a prescription ready for pickup, I took a shower on my first break and went to the store on lunch. They're walling off the overflow storage area at the front of the store where they used to keep all the paper products for some reason. New break room or offices, perhaps? I brought a chicken platter home from the usual guy. This trip marked the first occasion of the year on which I didn't bring a jacket with me out of the house just in case I felt cold.
The rest of my lunch and my last break were devoted to the Grinding Gear attack on the World of Ruin in FFVI. Tomorrow's the last Live Letter before Fan Fest, so while it doesn't seem likely that we're going to get the expansion title... I'm wondering if we might anyway? They're setting up "winter's cold" and "silver" as major thematic elements of the coming story, and the US titles try to be evocative in a way that feels poetic. (We bounced some ideas around "winter" and "silver" and "tides" in the discord tonight.) Anyway, work itself went fine, though I think spending all day Wednesday and all day Thursday and still not being done with reworks is an issue.
After work, Julie headed out for her bocce league's resumption, while I started an early load of laundry. Ate all the leftover meat and potatoes and cabbage that was in the fridge, and I did a bunch of games of Demon Seed Warlock in Hearthstone while my laundry was going. I meant to email myself all the website notes I'd taken while I was in Wichita last week, but I didn't get around to it until it was way too late in the day.
Wednesday: big briefing at work in which I provided the visual aids. Afterwards, we went to the gym, and I may have overexerted myself. We had our leftover pizza for dinner while watching more Enterprise, and I did a little bit of Hearthstone and Vampire Survivors: Emerald Diorama. Went to bed comparatively early, and thus didn't have time to post this update until the following day.
Tuesday: split my time at work between taking calls and working on projects, though I did have my biweekly one-on-one with my supervisor, as well as a biweekly team captain meeting.
After work, we finished the leftover goulash before walking to a park on 3rd street for water ice. Thanks to the pleasant weather, it was a nice walk, for the most part. Looks like the road's going to be closed for parking for a few weeks, so that won't be fun, but it won't be too much of an imposition to parking further away again.
Once we got back, I cleaned out the litter boxes, while Julie took out the trash. I drowsed on the floor for a bit, but I couldn't do much on the internet since our connection kept dropping, so I finished watching a cached video and went to bed.

Sunday: the warmth of spring made for a pleasant walk as we made our way up 12th street to find a place for lunch. We saw a lot of cats sunning themselves in windows. Once we got to 9th & Ellsworth, we assessed the restaurants in the area before settling on Mole Poblano. It was a bit of a wait, but the enchiladas suiza was worth it, and the sour cream on their chips was so mild, I ate them all (at Julie's insistence). We strolled back home, but I wound up falling asleep through the afternoon. I finished watching a Disco Elysium playthrough while chopping potatoes and making cheeseburger soup for dinner, and after we ate, we went back out to visit John's Water Ice, which was parked by the fountain on Passyunk. I did a cherry water ice, while Julie did some combination involving ice cream. We cleaned up at home before finally playing Civ VI again. I was able to build enough wonders early on that I kind of ran away with the game, so we didn't stick with it too long.
