Sunday: our Memorial Day weekend continued with some time in bed with cats. Lots of ladder-climbing in idle moments today; got up to around Diamond rank 3 in wild before I called it a day. Before noon, I drove us to Petsmart for snacks, after which we stopped in at Taco Bell for our usual lunch. The road construction on south Front Street finally ended, and they've rearranged the dining area to put the toppings station against the window by the soda fountain. Julie got a refill for the road, reasoning she'd need the extra caffeine, but I went without. At Acme, we didn't need much, but I still found my list shorter than intended: the grape Propel was out-of-stock, as were shelled sunflower seeds and sugar-free Lifesavers. Once we had everything, we filled up the gas tank and stopped in the little grocery store long enough to grab the candy I'd missed.
After we'd dropped off the groceries and finished our preparations, we got on the road back to Baltimore. Julie drove us down, and I spent this leg of the trip noting down the names of songs I liked currently in rotation on Alt-Nation. We dropped off the car at our reserved parking spot, and in the stadium, our seats were at the very back of a section under an overhang, so we were protected from any further drizzles the weekend might bring. After we were seated, I got dinner for us from the discount food stall: a pair of hotdogs, some pretzels, and a box of popcorn. It was pretty gratifying for the Tigers to win, since we'd taken such efforts to see them. I drove us back home through the dampened darkness.
Talked with Mom on the phone about their weekend; Kelly helped the girls with a dance recital, and it sounds like Clara had a big meltdown. We talked a bit about our respective self-improvement projects, and they recommended I contact Sam about my current plans, so I should shoot him a message before bed.
Saturday: after having heard our neighbor moving in, today we happened to meet her father as we left for the day. (He was happy to see what kind of people she'd be living near.) Before our usual Saturday errands, I drove us to Ross to pick up some new clothes, as my general-purpose jeans have started wearing out. I got two new pairs, which I'm already enjoying. We also stopped into the thrift shop to turn in some puzzles that Julie was finished with and buy several more. While she was making her selections, I browsed their books, and grabbed a copy of Moby-Dick to read. After we finished our regular shopping and I brought us home, we turned our attention to the overgrowth in our front and back yard. While it had stopped raining while we worked, there was enough moisture on the weeds that my hands were getting filthy through the first pair of gloves I'd grabbed, so I had to switch to a pair of leather work gloves instead. We finished our triannual gardening efforts and got cleaned up; I unwound with a stream of The Little Match Girl Approaches the Golden Firmament. For dinner, we finished the spinach pasta, and Julie suggested we do our own things, so I entertained myself in the office.
Friday: tried to spend the morning working on Moondrop Isle with mixed success. Shortly after breakfast, I decided to walk to the gym for the first time in months; they've moved my preferred machines to be pointed out the window, which is honestly a downgrade. I much prefer not being able to make eye contact with passersby while working out. I spent my inaugural return reading the Let's Play/Read the Inform 7 Manual on the IF community forum. Once I got back home, I took a shower, though this proved a little premature, since I went right back outside to pick up lunch. Julie mentioned she was interested in trying this halal cart across from Acme, so I walked over to place an order and bring our food back home. I probably should have found some place to pick up hummus and pita while I was on my way out, since the only place I could stop in on my return was closed for the day. My gyro wasn't bad, though it was a big mess to eat. I did some laundry before I started prepping dinner shortly afterwards. I figured it would take me long enough to chop up the onion and sausage (and get the potatoes sliced in the food processor), plus with the time to bake the potatoes in the overn for an hour, I'd need as much lead time as I could get. Julie took her own trip to the gym while I cooked; once everything was in the oven, I did the dishes as well. I figured I'd have less interference from the cats if I worked on Moondrop Isle in the living room, so I had dinner with Julie while we watched more Trailer Park Boys leading into the first season of Star Trek Enterprise. I was not making much progress, so I came to bed.
Wednesday: I had a cold in April, Right? Scanning back through these entries, I see it was the weekend of the 22nd, so over a month ago. While I feel otherwise fine, I am still coughing. A lot. So much so that Julie couldn't sleep last night and she wondered if she should come check on me in the other room. If I have weeks of coughing to look forward to every time I catch a cold, I'm not about to stop masking any time soon, and I gotta get a lot more vigilant about hand-washing than I already am.
Anyway, after my update last night, I played more Zelda, which consisted of almost an hour of just playing through the Hero's Path recording to see how badly I'd misrepresented the order in which I'd done things in these summaries. (Conclusion: I got to Tarrey Town a lot earlier than I thought, and I did a lot more in the Eldin region while still managing to completely bypass the Goron settlement.) Rather than continue to Eventide Island, I wound up exploring some parts of the northwestern quadrant that I'd missed, picking up a few stray articles of clothing and a bunch of ore. All that Hero's Path review made me self-conscious about always teleporting to the same shrines and towers, so I might try to mix it up more going forward.
I did eventually get to bed, but in the morning I didn't have time for much before my shift started. Wednesdays are still too busy for my taste, to say nothing of the increase in calls due to our Memorial Day flash sale.
Temperatures are increasing. I had to turn the ceiling fan on in the office, and it wasn't quite enough to be comfortable.
Didn't really have a plan for dinner (other than more Kroger generic cough drops), but I got kind of carried away with the new Heroic Brawliseum in Hearthstone. These events aren't worth the entry fee, but I had extra gold, and I wound up writing up my games on the competitive subreddit. Then I realized I should post all these updates on my website while I'm still fresh, and now it's nearly 1 AM. That seems like enough for one day.

Saturday: a bunch of us went to the Frankmuth Bavarian Inn restaurant in Frankenmuth. As sorted by facebook, this would have been Stacie, Jennifer, Laura, Mark, Mike, and David.

Tuesday: volatile weather seems to be coming to an end, since the cats were sprawled on various perches and grooming themselves.

This is the spring (or early summer?) for Julie to tweet. Here's what she wrote today, per her livejournal transcription service:
10:23 It is already way too hot in the store. Yuck.
