Monday: lots of follow-ups at work today. Afterwards, we went to trivia, where we sat at the round table by the garage door. We had our usual, plus potato wedges. Once the game got going, we did well! I provided several key answers, and we ended up in 2nd place. After getting back home, I fell asleep for a bit, but I logged into Dawntrail and progressed the MSQ from the end of the third zone to just before the end of the fourth zone.
Saturday: a perfectly ordinary day. We hit Taco Bell, went shopping, played Civ VI. I was trying to maximize faith generation as Ethiopia since that can pivot into either science or cultural victory paths, but I kept forgetting to found my cities on hills, and eventually Kublai Khan started gobbling my settlements up. Julie managed to sneak a diplomatic victory as the Mongols in what felt like record time. She made more of that chicken, rice, and casserole sausage for dinner, and we started rewatching Futurama unexpectedly. I have no complaints.
Oh, and I can officially aknowledge that I bought a new computer last fall. Maybe this week I'll actually get it set up in an optimal position.
