Tuesday: it's my one-year anniversary at work! Brenna and Courtney and I congratulated each other for surviving, and we would have congratulated Jasmine, too, if she'd been in the office today. I finished my project's backlog just in time for my first weekly update tomorrow, and I spent the last part of my day in a class session for the company's career development program. (A sample sentence from my notes: "Do the hard part.")
John got back a clean bill of health from his tests at the vet, and Julie had another outing with a new friend after she finished at work today, so I ate the rest of my salad for dinner. My plans for the evening got as far as gathering the cat litter and taking out the trash before I let myself watch too many Hearthstone videos. I should turn in now so that I can do my run to the store tomorrow.
Monday: this was my first day of work at the cruise company: a remote connection from my new desk in our apartment in Philadelphia. I'd spend something like the next three months in training.

I called the Lawrence Target to confirm there'd be no benefit to my coming there in person to try to expedite the transfer of my data, so I saved myself a trip. I was a little disappointed that I didn't have a reason to go up there, but my livejournal update made a lot of noise about seeing friends and going swimming, so perhaps I got to do one of those things after posting my update?
