Saturday: late to rise thanks to my late night; I was out of bed some time after 10. Took a quick shower, after which I drove us for our errands. We got more pet supplies, lunch at Taco Bell, and a stop in at the thrift store. While Julie browsed, I went to get my hair cut. She was still shopping by the time I finished; we picked up some nylon pants for shore excursions, some books and puzzles, and Gone with the Wind, since Julie's currently going through the audiobook. Did our usual grocery run, after which I brought us back home. Typical chores: got the litter, did laundry, vacuumed, and started in on dinner. I made fried rice, though I had to mess with the recipe a bit since we keep adding ad hoc ingredients. I suggested we watch TV, and knowing Julie's tastes, I suspected she'd enjoy Kill la Kill; we're pretty early, but she's laughed a few times. (Didn't hurt that she was high.) After treating the cats, I made the mistake of playing more Zero Parades, and now it's nearly 3 AM. This is catastrophic.
Friday: the new batch of reworks finally arrived at my job, and I was not able to get through them all, unfortunately. After work, I talked with David as usual, while Julie hung out with the cats in the bedroom. Leftovers for dinner, plus Umamusume, which has really captured my attention for some reason.
Thursday: after going to bed early last night, I was able to wake up at a reasonable time feeling well-rested, though I didn't do much but watch youtube. We needed to bring Orange Juice and Grey Goose to the vet for their check-up and immunizations, but everybody's in good health, other than a little bit too much weight. We picked up Taco Bell on the way home, after which I went to get my hair cut at a barber shop on Mifflin. I went shopping afterwards, and with lunch already taken care of, I was out back in just less than an hour. Julie had her usual Thursday night activities, so I was going to eat my salad dinner, but I fell asleep for a few hours in the bedroom with Mim first.
Tuesday: an early night last night! Sleep was so restful that I woke up maybe 20 minutes before my work shift. It was a pretty satisfying workday, though, as the calls were spaced well apart. Julie brought back the "tray of oiled-and-spiced zucchini, peppers, onions, and sausage" dish she used to make in Wichita to try to get through the significant sausage backlog we've built up thanks to specials at Acme. I'd like to get to the gym tomorrow morning, so I'm making it an even earlier night tonight.
Monday: sixth day of training at my new job. This involved role-playing mock calls with partners. We also got to hear from the department head, and I updated my notes on various ships in our fleet.

My dad has a book called "The Race Card" written by two white guys on his bookshelf. Yikes.
At Stables with my bro, his home away from home.
He's making me do a mango bomb and won't tell me what it is. Also, first long island in a long time.
The drinks here are so strong Jason is drunk after one white russian. He's my cheap date.
Watching my bro and Jason play darts. If this place had a pool table it would be perfect.
Neighborhood bars that make drinks really strong are the best and I love them and am drunk. Bless.
Why every bar doesn't have a popcorn machine is beyond me.
