Tuesday: in bed before 1 AM. High school and alien monsters and retail work and a particular supervisor and driving and returning to store entrance to find my blue winter coat covered in slush and detritus: that's the stuff I dreamed about. Out of bed by 6:35. Still didn't quite finish all my groups for the week yesterday, so I logged in early again to ensure I was caught up. The rest of the workday felt kind of hot and cold: can't work on many new groups because we're too caught up, but there were too many transactions pending for me to get started on my new week of reworks. The phone side is hectic, though, so I had to spend a lot of time researching commission payments and refunds for partner advocates. The heat and humidity were bad enough that I closed the windows and turned the air back on; at lunch, I took a luxurious shower, so I didn't leave myself a lot of time to eat. We wore our rain jackets to Santucci's for dinner. The trivia focused on Greek mythology, so Julie borrowed from The Venture Bros. for our team name again, and we played as "Any Which Way But Zeus". We scored 7 out of 11 on too many rounds, so she soon lost interest in trying to salvage our score, but I had a good time, and we both loved the pizza. Back home, we brought out the trash and recycling and treated the cats, and I've now written these missing updates from Sunday and Monday. Looks like I'll be getting to bed around 12:30.
Monday: back at work after a not-very-restful weekend. John spent a lot of the day on my desk. On my lunch break, I walked to the store to pick up a jar of trail mix and a chicken platter from the halal cart, though I forgot to request the omission of hot sauce. It wasn't unbearable, though. After our shifts, we walked again to Stogie Joe's for trivia, and the evening air felt wonderful. the place was pretty empty; we were seated by the restrooms, and although the trivia felt easier than last week, I think we did a little worse. I stayed up a little too late playing Umamusume to finish off the last tasks for the event that was expiring, though the rewards weren't really significant enough to bother over.
Sunday: worked a typical weekend shift in the morning, and in the evening, I brought my laptop out to the living room so we could watch more Resident Alien over dinner. Julie brought the spincy spinach pasta recipe back for a change of pace. I tried to keep watching Dawntrail vods, but I fell asleep pretty quickly.
Friday: a wonderfully slow day at work. I was able to catch up on nearly all my follow-ups and unresolved issues. I'd forgotten that this was the release date for The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart, so we watched that after my shift ended. It answered enough of my lingering questions that, if we never get another installment in the Venture Bros. franchise, I'm at least satisfied with what we got. I still hope that, somehow, they get to make more.
Thursday: our training on payments at work continues. In my notes, it says we're having tapas tonight, so I think we must have gone to Barcelona Wine Bar, where we had dinner with another couple.

Friday: had to go into work early. For once, I'm the one working more than 40 hours in the week.

Tuesday: seems I was disappointed to hear that Danielle was leaving the bank. We also lost Liz, but we gained Stefan (SUA) and Sophia (SKR). My next phone list is dated 08/27/15.

Sunday: we're at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City for a football game, since my sister is a cheerleader with the KC team. I think they might have been playing against Detroit, because Julie has us in Tigers shirts. The sun was blazing, so we used jackets and sunglasses to try to shield ourselves from the light as much as we could.

Oh Crunchy's, it's been so long since I've had the pleasure of being inside of you.
Watching Jason walk around with a cane is like a flash forward to when we are 80.
The MSU Dairy Store is always worth the wait. Yum blue moon.

16:47 Unexpected boon: while hobbling through this bookstore, I discovered they actually had .@auntiepixelante's book!
20:00 If *I'd* tried to get @familyjules727 to play Dominion, I'd have probably failed. Her college friends didn't.

Julie posted an update to LiveJournal today:
"Zach and I are writing a screenplay. Why not? We came up with the outline while at work on Thursday. It took five or so hours to come up with what could be the best move in history. I mean really, if crappy movies like "RV" or "Euro Road Trip" can be financed and made getting ours greenlit should be a walk in the park.
"My DVD player is finally dying I think. It keeps skipping perfectly fine DVDs even after I run the lens cleaner disc through it. Luckily Jason's PS3 plays dvds so I won't have to buy a new player for now.
"We excavated a skeleton on Joy's property all day Saturday and Sunday. The girls had to finish without me today. We dug straight down five feet on the side of a cliff over a creek. Talk about annoying to get to. We think it's from the 1800s and it has been eroding into the creek bank. Her family plans on reburying it after this is all said and done. Shoveling really takes it out of you. I've been so exhausted all weekend, but excavating real bone is worth it!
"I really think I'm addicted to the queso crunchwrap at Taco Bell. I think they lace the queso with crack. Seriously."
