Monday: lots of abbreviated updates lately since I've been trying to finish up with time-limited stuff like Fallen London's Estival update and MoP Remix, but my sleep is suffering as a result; most workdays have had catnaps feature in half my breaks and lunches. While I was able to do a fair bit of trade sanctions updates and outstanding follow-ups, I barely scratched the surface on reworks. Had a long call at the end of the day, so we probably got to trivia a bit later than I would have preferred.
At Stogie Joe's, all the tables were full, so we grabbed a spot at the bar, right in front of the taps. Second week in a row we got wings and stromboli, and for drinks we had waters while splitting a cider. Questions started pretty quick after we arrived. First time in a while I was able to contribute this many answers; I had suggestions for about half the questions. While we started round one with 7 out of 10, we climbed steadily over the game and ended up in 2nd place.
Saturday: thanks to last night's activities, I was awake pretty early, though not really functional. I drowsed in the bedroom until noon. We did one last weekend run to Taco Bell and then Acme. After bringing everything home, I fell asleep on the living room until 4:30. I got up to clean out the litterboxes and clean up the basement while Julie did the dishes. (The tarp we'd set up last week was a bit of a mess, but that was the point. Let's call it a mixed success.) After showering, we finished the tofu and rice while watching Futurama and followed it up with a game of Civ VI. I was Jadwiga again, and I've been enjoying her version of Poland, but we had too many religious civs and things weren't really going either of our ways, so we abandoned the game a hundred or so turns in. I caught up on Hearthstone, and now that Julie's gone to bed, I'm going to do some brief Final Fantasy XIV of my own. Gotta prepare for early mornings again.
