Monday: thanks to my late-night work last night, I was able to finish all my new groups and clean up most of my pending groups at work. After my shift, we went to Stogie Joe's, as usual. A huge group in the side room was just leaving, and we ended up at our usual two-top table. The Caesar salad with chicken was a welcome resumption of our usual routine. For better and for worse, the questions this week were on the easy side, and we ended up with our best overall score (64 points out of a potential 70), leaving us in 3rd place. I recommended we get ice cream on our way home, as I expected the heat of the summer to finally start diminishing soon. Once we were home, I ended up napping in the office for a bit, but then I got up to get the cats their treats. I had a little yogurt with granola and then posted these updates.
Sunday: spent the day working on terminated groups at work, after which we ran to the gym. I read old entries on Zarf's blog. Upon returning home and cleaning up, we ate leftover stew of some sort. Because it was so late in the day, we continued doing our own things, so I watched Day9's struggles with The War Within's initial quests; once I finished eating, I resumed playing, myself. I logged off at level 73; I'd done a fair bit of questing on the Isle of Dorn, plus a little bit of profession-grinding. I wanted to do all the quests to unlock playable earthen, but after looking up the achievement, I realized it required completing the entirety of the main story quests. Whenever I get to play next, I'll stop doing side stuff and resume the MSQ.
Friday: While Julie was working, I tried to get some more organizing done in the office, though that did not extend to cleaning up the game shelves. We wound up taking naps through the late afternoon, but I got up in time to make the tortellini. I should have used the microwavable bacon rather than the skillet variety: it came out just a touch scorched. At least that made for easy crumbling. We watched a few episodes of Futurama, though we didn't quite make it to the new episodes yet. After I started drifting off, we decided to shut down for the night. Rather than continue on my to-do list, I got caught up watching an Inscryption playthrough recorded from Twitch and stayed up too late, again. Having Julie's Friday night coincide with the last night of my weekend might not be healthy for my Saturday mornings.

Saturday: Julie posted a Facebook update about the fact that we were at J's Lounge with Richard and Glen, and apparently her alcohol-to-pool ratio was on-point because she was performing much better than usual.
