Monday: after posting last night's update, I spent ten minutes trying to find my phone unsuccessfully before I turned to google's "Find My Phone" service. It turns out I'd left it on top of the coffee maker.
Today marked one of the most productive days at work that I can remember. I got into my stride on trade sanctions, I caught up on all of my terminated commission scrub reworks, and I barely had to take any calls, but those few I fielded were easy to resolve. I finished my salad for lunch. Once Julie and I were both done with work, we went out for trivia (and almost had our choice of tables, since the place was so empty). We sat at the table closest to the ATM, and since they had the baseball game on, Julie cheered on Houston, who were up against the Phillies. We switched back to our classic dinner of Caesar salad and pizza, but while the food was great, this had to be one of our worst performances at trivia that I can remember. There were only around seven teams, but we had a definite last place. We consoled ourselves by picking up soft serve on the way home. I ordered a swirle in a small bowl.
Tonight, I finished up the Isle of Dorn main quests in The War Within before descending into the Ringing Deeps. I knocked out a fair number of delves, and before I logged out for the night, I was level 75. There've been a few connection hiccups and performance glitches since the official launch was today, so the game's under a lot more strain than over the weekend; I had to repeat the quest where you meet the High Speaker in the Ringing Deeps three or four times, because the cutscene kept glitching.
Since I'd missed their call last night, I talked to my folks this evening and caught them up on my prescription challenges and what we've been up to. The cats have gone through almost all the wet treat spoons, but tomorrow's my early Friday thanks to a vacation day on Wednesday. I'll try to tide them over with dry snack until I can go shopping on my three-day weekend.
Saturday: it didn't occur to me that I'd have my regularly weekly project on top of the urgent project I just picked up last week on top of providing chat support for my team today, but it did mean that the work went quick, and I was never at a lack for something to do, even with no calls to take. Julie wanted to use up the rest of the bacon, so she made eggs and bacon for brunch. I have been listening to the Castle Super Beast podcast as I've been able to, though I don't plan to go through their back catalog. (This is usually the major obstacle for me starting a podcast: I don't like starting up in the middle. If I can't figure out how to start from the first episode, I tend not to bother.) We went to the gym in the evening before stopping by the Bottle Shop again, though I didn't pick up any drinks for myself this time. Once we got back home, Julie prepared pork roast, little potato wedges, and asparagus for dinner. We watched some Futurama before a game of Civ VI. Neither of us accomplished anything noteworthy this game, though I did feel a slight investment in the way I'd scattered random cities all around our pangaea map. I started writing this update, but I got carried away with something else and didn't get back to it until a day later.

Friday: we're in Livonia. We ate at Bates Hamburgers before we went with Chris to Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum. It was a remarkable place just to walk around, but the highlight was the quarter pusher machines. Most gambling devices hold no appeal to me, but we've really enjoyed quarter pushers every time we've encountered them. We also hit up Sport N Fun (for miniature golf, possibly?) and Buddy's Pizzeria before ending our evening at Stables to celebrate Chris's birthday. If this is the night I think it was, we wound up crashing either with Chris or Ciavattone.

Tuesday: this was a momentous occasion. Julie and I went to eat at Freddy's Frozen Custard today, and the man himself was behind us, sporting a red polo with "Hi, I'm Freddy" embroidered on the back.
Monday: we successfully made it back to Wichita from our trip to Texas for Jared's wedding.
Sunday: on twitter, I expressed disbelief that "rickrolling" was a thing that happened, past tense, by which we can conclude the era of rickrolling has mostly passed.

Thursday: for reasons I did not record, I found myself astonished by "Wichita nightlife". This might have been an uncharitable evaluation of my neighbors.
