Friday: Cohost is switching to read-only mode on October 1, so people are encouraging each other to start up their own websites and get into RSS using posts like this one. I created my own manual RSS feed today using the techniques outlined in that post. (Since the post itself will disappear by the end of the year, the trick is to access this public XML generator in Google Docs, make a copy of your own, and update the yellow background fields to your own website. Any time you want to post an update to your RSS feed, just update the next line in spreasheet. Note that there are strict formatting requirements for the entries in the "date published:" column. Once you've finished your update, just copy the entire contents of the "output:" cell into your XML file on your website.)
In any event, I was pretty sleepy again today, but I still got up early enough to have a bowl of cereal for breakfast. I started a load of laundry, updated my website with my new RSS feed as described above, and I also decided I should finally upload my cruise photos on facebook. This process was complicated by accidentally maxing out my OneDrive account when I tried to move all my photos from my phone to my computer; I spent more than an hour moving all the screenshots to an offline-only folder, removing duplicates, and otherwise trying to eliminate unneeded backups. I was ultimately successful in posting a bunch of pictures to this Wonder of the Seas album on facebook, but you probably won't be able to see it unless we're friends on that platform. The better resource for general audiences is still going to be this Select Button photo thread which preserves the chronological order of images and gives a lot more context for each photo.
In the afternoon, I had the second half of my Newbold sandwich for lunch while playing a little bit of the popular Taunt Druid deck in Hearthstone. I barely watched any videos, in part because I was so sleepy; I took power naps at several points through the day. I did eventually wake up enough to start slicing the onion, peppers, and cherry tomatoes for tonight's dinner, though I mistakenly tried to boil the pasta water on the simmer burner, so it took far longer than it should have. We were finally able to eat around a quarter past 7, during which we watched more early Bob's Burgers. (These were the one where Gayle decorates the restaurant for the art crawl and the one where Linda turns the apartment into a B&B for the long weekend.) We both started falling asleep, so I treated the cats before coming in here to work on this update, but I kept getting distracted by Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and John's insistence that I follow him into the kitchen or bath room or living room. It's making it pretty apparent that I need to pursue my interests earlier in the day when he prefers to be asleep in other rooms; if I'm going to be up this late myself, I should recognize that this is Cat Time, and just stop trying to do things on the computer altogether.
Wednesday: It's my Friday, again! My ongoing project refocused today, and after work, Julie and I took naps in the living room before we started our evening. We had leftovers for dinner, and I watched part of a long Final Fantasy retrospective while eating (and then, while struggling to stay awake). I plan to work on my personal projects tomorrow morning, so I'm jumping into FFXIV for a quick session relatively early, today.
Oh, I forgot to mention: I also registered for bluesky, I think, though I'm having trouble logging in. No plans to use it at the moment, but I want to be able to follow some folks from Twitter if they wind up over there.

I finished Paradise Killer! There weren't any achievements in the game yet when I played through, so any achievement updates on here will be years from now. I also wrote a review in which I recommended it, with the clarification that this is a game that supports either solving a mystery or exploring a landscape, but progressing along either of those objectives will undermine your enjoyment of the other objective. However, these conflicting structural goals weren't enough to stop me from loving the game.
