Wednesday: took a fair number of calls today, despite still spending half my time on projects. Feels like we've just got a new batch of employees coming out of training; they have a lot more simple questions to answer. Julie suggested we go to a basketball game, since the Pistons were playing the 76ers, so after work, we rode the subway down to the Wells Fargo Arena. Decided to risk a concession stand burger and fries for dinner, while Julie got a hot dog and popcorn. As much as I enjoyed my meal, I'm not sure whether I should be more concerned about the nutritional impact or the cost. The game itself was satisfying for Julie, as she's always going to cheer for the Detroit team, and despite their 0-wins record, they triumphed tonight. Apparently M. Night Shyamalan was in attendance, though I wouldn't have recognized him if Julie hadn't pointed him out. Personally, I enjoyed the performers during time-outs and the plays at the end of the game, but I spent most of the game catching up on Select Button. It was a packed ride back on the subway, and I was ready to crash by the time we got back to the apartment. I like my new C-PAP machine, but I haven't adjusted to a normal sleep schedule, yet.
Monday: had a groggy morning, but I got moving anyway since we had a schedule to keep. I'd already gathered up my stuff the night before, so packing up after my shower was trivial. More challenging was the task of locating all the stuff we'd loaned out for use by others: it was easy to track down the blankets and the airbed, but Julie elected not to bother trying to recover the cocktail set beyond making sure her juicer was retrieved. I tried to identify any misplaced possessions that might be overlooked and called them out in the thread before we decided we shouldn't wait any longer and said our farewells.
I drove us back along what should have been a lovely misty drive, thanks the the many-colored trees autumn has provided, but I couldn't enjoy the trip. I was too paranoid that I'd left my 3DS behind, or too drowsy, or too wired, or too put out by the traffic. I did appreciate Julie's request that we get Arby's for lunch: I'm not ashamed to admit that I miss fast food. The rest of the drive was uneventful, though I marvelled a bit when I realized how much the south Philly streets have come to feel like home.
The cats were excited to see us and stayed in close proximity wherever we went after our arrival. The apartment had gotten pretty stuffy and gross while we'd been gone, and this was in spite of Emily's visit and attempt to clean up while she was here. I did a little spot-vacuuming and focused on unpacking. We spent a lot of time just recovering, lying on beds and sofas and chairs—wherever we could recline and cats could climb on top of us, really.
Around 6, we met Phil at Lucky 13 for drinks before going to Quizzo. Jimmy had a fun Halloween theme for us! I really enjoyed these questions, but I was disappointed in our performance. Anyway, we enjoyed more of the crab fries since Phil hadn't tried them yet, and we did pepperoni & cheese stromboli in lieu of pizza this time.
Back home, I tried to reacquaint myself with livejournal since I need to get info from my account (and maybe from Julie's, as well) for this website. Then I kind of spiralled into looking up old websites and people I used to follow before making the good choice to go to bed prior to 3 AM.
Sunday: went shopping today at the Acme on Passyunk today and they were having trouble controlling access to an aisle they were trying to restock. Kind of a mess.

Thursday: I must have been sleepy today, for some reason, if Julie's facebook status update is to be believed. I also listened to the Bionic Commando: Rearmed soundtrack on youtube a bunch.
