Saturday: a good start to my work-week, though I think Julie went out for a street festival with a friend in the evening. Despite this, I did not wind up vacuuming like I needed to. Leftover pasta for dinner.
Thursday: we did a little light clean-up this morning, and just as I had picked up lunch from Newbold Cafe, my parents pulled into town with Sam. I gave them a tour of the apartment, dropped their car off in the free parking lot, walked over to Pat's Steaks for lunch, and walked them back home again. Julie got set up to work in the office, so we all hung out in the living room and caught up; they brought cookies to snack on along with the chili bricks we'd requested. Sam and Dad took naps, and I showed Mom the Suika game that everybody got obsessed with a couple months back. We had reservations at 7:45 at the Victor Cafe, which would have been memorable enough as a 4-star restaurant where the waiters sing from operas, but by chance, our waiter Chase happened to sing *If I Should Leave You*, which is the song that Sam sang at my parents' wedding. Julie and I each ordered a pasta to share: she got the Prince Igor, while I picked a milder pasta in a red sauce. After we walked back home, Sam slept on the sofa while my parents took the bed in the office, and I played some Vampire Survivors on my phone before bed.

I played some Nidhogg. I can't recall of this was in the context of a meetup or not, but that's when I've had the most fun with it. I don't know how I received a copy of Vertiginous Golf, but I tried that for like 15 minutes.
