Monday: this is now my Friday, but I was excited to be able to dedicate most of my time to catching up on January's Trade Sanctions emails. After work, we met up with Julianne for trivia night, and our team was seated right by Jimmy's window. With the three of us there, we did a small Caesar salad and a small pizza, which was just about perfect. We finally broke out of our trend of tying for third place and failing the tiebreaker... by tying for third place and winning the tiebreaker. Julie was very pleased. Back home, I caught up in Hearthstone and World of Warcraft's respective anniversary events, but that meant I got to bed way too late.
Saturday: rough morning paired with high call volume thanks to the Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotional period beginning. (We're in the "promo preview" week, so sales have started early.) Needed to work on my project, but my time was 99% occupied with chat support and taking calls. Not looking forward to next weekend.
We figured the grocery store would be busy, but Julie went early enough to miss the crowds. We'd considered going to the gym, but I felt pretty beat down once my work day ended, so we just had the sausage and spinach pasta for dinner (to use up the rest of my extra cream cheese) and watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Once I finished a couple of Hearthstone games, we tried for some Civ VI. My computer had to crash three times and be rebooted before we could get it to start, but we did eventually get a game going, though this too eventually froze. I've got to turn off animated portraits again, since a recent update restored them automatically.

Friday: on this date, I recorded a 40-minute video and uploaded it to youtube. I set it to private, because this video was recorded with the intention that it would explain critical context and details regarding an interactive fiction project on which I was about to begin work. As of November 17, 2023, this project is still underway, and the circumstances have not yet arrived in which I will make this video public, but I think I'll schedule a date for it to go live automatically if I don't otherwise take action. That was about seven years ago, so... another seven years from now, perhaps? Check my channel on November 16, 2030, I guess.
