Saturday: since Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are starting to blur together a bit, I'm just going to post the same entry for each date. We finished the goulash on Friday, Julie made spicy spinach pasta on Saturday, and then those leftovers on Sunday. On at least one of these dates, we watched more Buffy. On another date, we went to the gym and pursued our own interests, I think. Playing a lot of AC:PC, staying up too late, and I made good progress on the Vampire Survivors DLC and base game.
Thursday: Did I sleep in on Thanksgiving? Yeah, I did. Julie made eggs and sausage and toast for brunch, and we lounged in the living room watching Bob's Burgers while we ate. We started up a game of Civ VI in the afternoon, and I was doing an awful job as Babylon. Julie should have won as Canada, but we miscalculated on whether we had more diplomatic power than the rest of the civilizations combined, and so on the final world congress vote, she and I voted for her to gain two points, but she lost two points instead. However, I was right behind her, and since I voted for all of the same resolutions she voted for, I passed the finish line myself, and so the country with the lowest overall score, the least technology, the worst army, the poorest culture, and whose entire civilization had been conquered except for a single city on an isolated peninsula (which was turned into an island by rising ocean levels due to global warming) was declared the overall victor.
For dinner, Julie made beef and vegetable stew, and it was magnificent. Once we got bored of Bob, Julie looked for something else and started Good Omens on a whim. We got most of the way through before she had to go to bed. I've just been making a list of all the things I need to do tomorrow as well, and now it's 2 AM, so I'd better crash as well.

Thursday: we went to Richard & Glen's for Thanksgiving dinner. From the photo on facebook, this was the year they made a pasta casserole and a meatloaf/mashed potatoes dish where each piece was garnished with a Doritos nacho chip. The drinks had a sharp gradient from maroon to maroon on top to a magenta bottom.
