Sunday: since Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are starting to blur together a bit, I'm just going to post the same entry for each date. We finished the goulash on Friday, Julie made spicy spinach pasta on Saturday, and then those leftovers on Sunday. On at least one of these dates, we watched more Buffy. On another date, we went to the gym and pursued our own interests, I think. Playing a lot of AC:PC, staying up too late, and I made good progress on the Vampire Survivors DLC and base game.
Friday: the theme for today was taking longer than I expected. Whether it was waking up, doing my laundry, going shopping, making dinner, or watching Good Omens, I lost more time to that activity than I'd planned. The only exception was my lunch at Subway, where I had a toasted six-inch turkey sandwich that almost made me cry because of how delicious I found it. People say Subway is failing, and that feels accurate when I'm in Philadelphia's franchises. The thought from Disco Elysium kept popping into my head: "The Precarious World". Failure can happen anywhere.
Anyway, after our dinner of caldo verde, I had a couple slices of the brownie that Julie's no longer interested in eating just as she was going to bed, and now that I'm about to post this update, I should go to bed, myself. Maybe tomorrow's shift won't be as bad as I'm dreading.
