Saturday: after staying up so late for the update last night, getting up this morning was miserable. I had to do it for my last shift before my long holiday, but work was a slog. I was busy with chat assistance and trapped in a a couple of final accounting puzzles for October that felt like they'd never end. It took me a long time, but I did finish everything I needed to finish.
Lunch and dinner were heavy on scrounging and getting the last of the leftovers. I had my sandwich and some cookies for lunch, and for dinner I had the last of the curry and rice. I've been watching a Canadian streamer play Cine2nerdle battles over on youtube, and it is refreshing to see a game and know without doubt that I would be awful if I ever tried to play it myself. I don't know actor names, or who starred in what, and so this competitive multiplayer six-degrees trivia match is a very bad fit for me. Still kind of compelling to watch somebody pull up some real obsure titles when he's backed into a corner, and I admire the defensive options the three different kinds of lifelines provide. Seems like a cool game.
Just had to make sure the thermostat was set properly for the cats while we're gone. Tomorrow is packing and cleaning and getting ready for the trip.

Wednesday: seems like I had the right half of my periodontal work done today, so my gums expressed plenty of displeasure. I think I had a racquetball scheduled with Mom for 12/17 around 3:30.
