Monday: my routine of waking up super early and then getting drowsy through the afternoon and evening continues. Nothing much to say about the call volume: I appreciated not having a lot of escalations today. Julie, on the other hand, found that her employer's heater had gone out when she arrived in the office, and considering the cold, she left before lunch to work from home for the rest of the day. We'd planned to have leftover soup for dinner and then go to Quizzo (where it'd just be the two of us on our team), but with how cold it was getting and the Eagles playing, it made more sense to just skip this week. We finished Carol & the End of the World. Julie continued working on the puzzle, but my exhaustion set in, and I went to bed early.
Sunday: another day of longer but low-intensity calls. Julie did the dishes in the afternoon while I worked, and after how exhausting the rest of the weekend was, we just had chopped potatoes and stuffed hot dogs for dinner. I got caught up in reviewing the A Realm Reborn updates in Final Fantasy XIV again. Wound up drowsing on the bed in the office for a while with some cats, including John, who usually prefers to nap in positions closer to the hallway.

Sunday: went to Ninza with Carl and Julie for all-you-can-eat sushi. Julie thought it was pretty good, and liked the variety of options! If this is the restaurant I think it is, it closed during the pandemic in 2020 or 2021.
I'd played it before, but today was the first time I could buy We Know the Devil on Steam, so I took the opportunity to support the game again and played through the whole thing.

I launched Half-Life 2 on Steam today. It's funny; Steam reports I only have 9.5 hours in-game, which I have to assume is because it wasn't tracking playtime when it first came out. Or is it just that I played through HL2 on The Orange Box on Xbox, originally? I don't think that's right; I'd played through it already, because The Orange Box had more emphasis on TF2, and Portal, and on one of the HL2 episodes. Big shrug.

Thursday: I think we went to a hockey game, where Julie took a questionably flattering photo of me. She said she likes the photo more than she likes me, so I'm glad somebody's a fan.
