Tuesday: got up and gave the cats the last of the treats, so after I finished my morning ablutions, task one was a trip to the store for more. I also picked up a chicken over rice platter from the gyro cart for lunch. I ate once I got home, after which I watched a playthrough of The Little Match Girl 2: Annus Evertens, which I find to be the most amusing game in the series. Since the Hearthstone update opened the new expansion Tavern Brawl, I played a few rounds after Julie got home. She promptly left to join Amy for a walk around the sports district.

Once Julie got back, we had another night of Karly Moon's trivia ahead of us, so we rode the subway to to the bar. Our team name this week was "I'm thinking of something..." because we couldn't think of anything better, and whenever we can't think of something to do, one of us starts a game of twenty questions with that sentence. All the rounds were themed on March Madness, to our despair. We still don't have much of a sense for the skill level of the teams at Santucci's, but I told Julie I'd be proud of our performance if we avoid placing last. We were already meeting that objective after the first round: one team performed worse than we did. We had some lucky guesses over the next few rounds, and during the music round, Karly's generous interpretation of the theme made it easy to pick up enough points to end up in 2nd overall. (I correctly predicted that she'd have "Space Jam" from the Quad City DJs among her tracks. Julie said the playlist was "elder millennial coded.") Even had the trivia gone poorly, dinner was a delight; Julie had a barbecue chicken pizza, while I ordered the pepperoni stromboli. The marinara was generous, and I enjoyed that their recipe was closer to the Stogie Joe's style than the Little Sicily II style, but I think I preferred the pizza I'd ordered two weeks ago.

Back home, I took care of the litter (and finished some laundry I'd started earlier in the day). Julie brought the recycling and trash cans to the curb, while I gathered up the last of the trash. The cats demanded their nightly treats, and once those were dispensed, I returned to Hearthstone to convert more of my Tavern Pass tickets into Emerald Dream card packs. I logged into WoW long enough for auction maintenance, after which I wrote this update. Next: bed!

Monday: visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay. 745 Hideaway Beach (adults only) day pass. 21 Voices.

1750 - a table at Playmakers across from Johnny Rocket's: by the time we woke up this morning, the ship was already docked at Perfect Day at Coco Cay. We went up to the Windjammer breakfast buffet, where I especially enjoyed the raw pineapple. We came back to the room to change out our carried supplies before exiting the ship. I was too out of it to feel like we were missing out by not going to the water park. Instead, we walked the path to Hideaway Bay, where we'd reserved access to the adults-only beach. We spent a while bobbing in the ocean, which was just a touch colder than comfortable. Started to get tired, so I got out first and came back to the chairs we'd picked out for a nap. We had a light lunch there before coming back to the ship. Back at the room, I continued napping until around 4, when we got showers and dressed for the evening. We came to the Schooner bar for trivia by 5. Just 20 questions with a lot of "make some noise" prompts in between. After we moved from our original table to some better chairs, I managed to spill most of my cider. We then came to the Playmakers sports bar for poke nachos and parmesan fries, where I'm writing this.

0111 - in bed: after my last update, we finished eating and went to the Sweet Shop, where I purchased a double scoop of cookies and cream/quad chocolate. We chilled in our room a bit before it was time for the Voices show. It was alright, but it suffered by coming after we'd already seen InTENsity. We wandered through the casino, where Julie played a dollar slot, and we went back to the Broadway area to have some pizza since we were getting hungry again. Pizza eaten, we stopped in a store before we found a couple seats in Central Park to pass some time. After the Hungarian band stopped playing and Julie got cold, we made our way to a lounge where Temperature was playing. We stayed for maybe an hour there, as well. On our way back to the room, I wanted to see what was at the aft end of our hallway, which turned out to be the second level of the aqua theater by the climbing wall. We returned to our room to prepare for bed, and I did a little bit of last-minute Twist in HS before the big Whizbang release tomorrow.

Saturday: had Taco Bell for lunch, then picked up some knee pads and a fire extinguisher at Lowe's. From there, we got our week of shopping in at Acme. I wound up having to park a block south of our apartment, which is still close, but it's the first time I parked on that street. We did some light cleanup in the basement, and I was finally able to climb into the crawlspace under the kitchen to confirm that the cats may love climbing into that area, but at least they aren't defecating back there. After cleaning up, we watched some special features on the Everything Everywhere All At Once disc while playing some Civ VI. I also started queueing up downloads for the 3DS and Wii U before those eShops go offline next week.
