2025

Saturday: been having good Blue Prince discussions on Ryan's discord. I played a little bit before we left for lunch, and I'm also finding myself checking the FFXIV subreddit for the latest M:tG card reveals for the upcoming crossover set. I drove us to Taco Bell again, and there was a bit of a wait for our food for some reason. We got some complimentary cinnamon twists by way of apology. After lunch, I drove us back up to the store, and we pondered what the wrecked building on the corner south of the store might have been before fire gutted it. It was a quick store run, and once we came back home, it was time to gather the litter and take out the trash, while Julie did the dishes. In the afternoon, the second half of the Little Match Girl 4: Crown of Pearls stream went up on youtube. After I fiished watching, I joined Julie in the living room for the last of the goulash, and to provide a change of pace, she put on Strangers With Candy so I could see Amy Sedaris's early work. After we finished with the show (and Julie started to fall asleep on the sofa), I watched more of Apollo's Blue Prince streams to see if there were any puzzles he'd come across that I hadn't already solved.

2024

Friday: Kind of a weird day. It was supposed to rain, and we did get some sprinkles, but there was never much of a downpour. We couldn't decide on lunch for a bit, but we finally settled on Cosmi's Deli, which meant I could pick up a couple more items from the grocery store. Despite the drizzle, there wer a lot of people on the streets, which made the driving all the more stressful. I got more cat treats, some spinach, more salad dressing, and a lemon for Julie's plans in the next few days, after which I picked up lunch. I had a chicken cheesesteak with hoagie toppings, but trying to split the difference was probably worse than if I just committed one way or the other. I put together pizzas for dinner with sausage, orange pepper, feta cheese, and sliced jalapenos for Julie's pie. While I ate, I played a little Fallen London and spent the Fate necessary to finish building my zubmarine, so I can finally go to Hunter's Keep for the key I need for my character's ambition. Probably shouldn't have tried to do this while I was in the middle of hatching an egg in Whitsun, but I'm sure it'll be fine.

2023

Wednesday: had my first house vacancy in ACNH in months, so I prepared to go island-hopping in search of a new resident, and Petri was on the first island I visited! I felt very lucky. After diverting myself with MMO gameplay, a moment of drive overtook me, and I spent most of the night preparing the layout for an upcoming interactive fiction project.
