Saturday: woke up in the office and rolled right into my work shift. I had a lot of follow ups to do, a recap briefing, and I had some training calls to do with Diana. For lunch, I finished my salad while watching Preach's Dawntrail vods. After work, Julie made salmon and asparagus for dinner, and after she finished with Sex and the City, we ate while watching Resident Alien. I thought we'd seen more than four episodes so far, but apparently not. We watched two or three more, tonight. Julie had washed the sheets, so after fitting them back on the bed, I continued watching videos while snacking on pistachios.
Thursday: did my annual check-up for the first time in a few years, and I emerged with two specialist referrals, though scheduling those referrals proved as circuitous as usual. I tried out the ice cream I'd picked up at the store over the weekend, but I'm not sold on it, yet. I spent a lot of my workday bouncing back and forth between my weekly project and a follow-up task I'd been kind of dreading. While we didn't land quite where I'd hoped, we missed the worst outcomes; I'm glad to have it behind me. On my breaks, I continued watching the BDG playthrough of Outer Wilds, and in the evening I had some of Julie's frittata while inching through Lauren's Disco Elysium playthrough. I'm hoping to make some IF progress either tomorrow night or Saturday, but the heat in this apartment's not doing my sense of focus any favors.

Anthony asked me to remind him to fill out leave forms today. I didn't have his email address, though, so I posted the reminder on my livejournal page. Did I try texting him? Did I even have a cell phone yet, at this point? Not for another few months, I think.
