Tuesday: spent most of my workday stuck on groups escalation requests, even though more than half of that period was spent in project time. Went by Newbold Cafe for lunch. After Julie got home and I finished work, we walked to POPE for the monthly Latchkey-run trivia. We sat at my favorite table so far, where I had a cider (it was fine) and another Pope burger (still too much, as uaual). Our performance this month was a reverse of our usual outcome: our answers to the 1986 general trivia scored a historically bad 6 out 20, but we rallied in the lyrics round, and for the first time, we got one of the best scores in the room during the movie round. (The theme was "nepo babies," which is a term that Julie was a little surprised to learn I had not previously encountered.)
Once we got back home, it was trash night, and I gathered all the litter. After cleaning up, I finally checked in on the new game Ryan revealed on Discord, but I didn't finish before I needed to go to bed. It's conceptually ambitious, though, and I spent a good while talking with Carl M. and Sarah W. as we engaged wtih it. Also spent some time wrapping up the Fallen London Estival event; when I signed out for the night, I was in the process of exiting the labyrinth of the Sixth Coil.

Sunday: after my late night, I was again struggling to stay conscious through the morning. We finished the food we'd had leftover from our trip to Rocco's for lunch before cleaning up the basement: I got all the litter boxes and switched the vacuum configuration from dry pick-up to wet pick-up, while Julie did the actual scrubbing with soapy water and vinegar. Once I'd vacuumed the excess water out, we let it dry for a while before laying down a tarp to hopefully simplify future cleanup processes. For dinner, I put together the usual taco soup, though we lacked tortilla chips and had to make do with the last of the ruffled variety. We continued watching Futurama, and I spent my time in both Hearthstone as well as doing more Moonfire Faire tower attempts. I was about to start again now that Julie's gone to bed, but I thought I'd better post this first, as I'm going to want to get to bed earlier tonight.
