Friday: I'm caught up on all my groups! Overall, a very successful conclusion to the work week. Afterwards, Julie had a drinking outing with Emily at Juana Tamale and Human Robot. She got back just before I got my weekly call from David, as he had something he had to take care of when we would normally talk. I updated him on my progress in Tears of the Kingdom and FFXIV, while he told me about his reading ambitions. After our conversation, we each had cabbage patch soup for dinner. She had hers in the living room, while I had mine in the office. I had plans to get into FFXIV for the new summer event, but first I started watching an Endwalker zone five playthrough, and that ended up taking like six hours. At least I was able to do my dailies in UmaMusume and HearthStone. (After I finish this update, I'm logging into FFXIV for sure.)
Thursday: started my day with a trip to a specialist in Marlton. The appointment went about as I'd expected: one step forward, one step to the side, and a half-step back. I treated myself to breakfast as a consolation, then came back home. It wasn't a very productive day off. Julie had her bocce meetup in the evening, but I just did a little laundry, watched some videos, and played The War Within prerelease event/MoP Remix. I ate the leftover tofu and stir fry.
Tuesday: haven't had much fun with Tuesdays, lately, and that was true of this one, too. I've been ahead of the game on calls this week, at least, so I didn't have a lot of follow-ups or stats issues to worry about. After Julie got home, she made a tofu and vegetables dish in the pressure cooker with white rice. Kinda spicy, though not more than I could handle. Also had to take out the trash, and in the process assessed the damage in the basement: while the tarp we dropped helped after a fashion, I still had a lot of clean-up to do. Julie found a cockroach in the bathroom. It slipped out of sight while I was preparing a path outside and gathering materials to trap it, so Julie spread more diatomaceous earth in likely areas to curtail further roach activity. I got carried away watching Disco Elysium streams, so I need to go do the dishes, now.
