Friday: the second half of my unproductive weekend. I picked us up Newbold Cafe for lunch. Julie had a concert in the evening, so I had the leftover chicken with cashews and rice.
Wednesday: I was up later watching a big FFXIV playlist than I ought to have been, so I did not wake up as early as I prefer to on Wednesdays. Julie took the car in for an oil change. Once I got to work, I got my project for this week knocked out in record time, and it was a pleasantly slow day, which was good because my breaks were taken up by dealing with some forum drama. Julie went out for another Quizzo night with a friend. After my work shift ended, I went into the bedroom and power-napped for a couple hours, waking up just in time for Julie's return. We might go together next Wednesday, since my schedule is changing. I finished the salad for dinner while watching old Disco Elysium playlists, after which I posted an update to some folks about an IF project; I need to work on that next Thursday, I think. Since I was so recharged by my nap, I spent some time in FFXIV, still failing at climbing the Moonfire Faire tower, though I'm getting pretty consistent at the first two tiers. (The third tier causes me a lot of trouble, and the two times I've made it to the fourth tier, I could not figure out how to proceed...) All those videos I watched gave me a better sense of how to approach leveling, though, so I made some progress getting DNC out of the rut I'd been stuck in. Gonna go crash for a couple hours, before hopefully getting up in time to get more lunch stuff at the store.
