Wednesday: I barely got to work on my projects today. Since I got out pretty late, we had to scrap our plans to go to the gym, but at least that meant Julie was free to pursue her dinner plans on her own schedule. She used the new rice cooker to accelerate the process of making that buffalo chicken over rice dish. I had wanted to watch something together tonight, but since it was after 8 by the time I was actually eating, we continued to do our own thing. In my case, that meant watching Welonz's Telling Lies stream vods as I ate, but after I finished eating, I collected the last of The War Within's prelaunch transmog sets; the only thing I still need to do before launch is to finish leveling alts and to get as many weapon transmogs as I can manage. Stayed up too late for this, though.
Monday: my new schedule started! I'm working 9 to 5:30, and my weekends will fall on Thursdays and Fridays. My body was not ready for the new wake-up time, but I still got to work on time, painful though it was. Still busy with my project from Friday, so I managed to avoid any calls today. I finished a Disco Elysium playlist on YouTube. We'd planned to go to the gym after work, but Julie wasn't really feeling up to it. We have a bunch of leftover soup from yesterday, and I played more FFXIV before it got too late. I was able to get these updates both posted before midnight, so as long as I don't stay up too late tonight, I should be on-track to meet my goals.

Julie had a colorful update on LiveJournal today:
"I have a shiny new vanity in my bathroom now to replace the wet and rotted old one. I so should have had a mushroom grow on there so much sooner. This one is a bit smaller but it's oak instead of dark wood and has a shiny white top. It really brightens up the room.
"I didn't realize how many tampons I have until cleaning out the cabinet under my sink. I probably have enough to last the next decade.
"I saw Mamma Mia with my mom when my parents were here last weekend and I can't stop listening to the soundtrack. The visit with my folks was nice. I'm sure they're glad they finally got to meet and scrutinize Jason and see what he's all about.
"School started today and I had my anatomy class. We got right into the swing of things as we started dissecting our cadavers right off. My half of the group got to start out skinning and separating the muscles of the back. I forgot how much fun it is to cut through fat and how much the hemostats hurt my thumbs.
"One of Chad's relatives died yesterday and he was agonizing over having to tell his ten year old son. It made me think about the fact that half of my extended family was dead by time I was ten. I think it's a double edged sword to have a member of your family die while you are young. On one hand it really sucks because you never have the chance to get to know them, yet on the other it's almost nice (which doesn't really seem like the appropriate word to use but I'm not sure what else would fit) in that their deaths didn't effect me. Even though my living grandmother doesn't know who I am anymore, it will still really throw me when she dies because she's been in my life for so long. I know I'll lose it, especially if I'm still 1000 miles away.
"I should go take a shower... I think my skin is itchy where it accidentally came in contact with the cadaver. Her fingernails are painted. How cute!"
