Wednesday: Julie realized I wasn't working and asked when I had been going to tell her; I said that I'd planned to reveal this fact at lunchtime when I offered to pick something up. Since I needed to run by the store to pick up a prescription, she had me grab food from the halal cart. I switched back to the gyro this time, but I still had to eat the entire thing wtih a knife and fork.
Despite taking the day off specifically to play The War Within, I didn't play any of it today. However, Joseph Anderson did upload a review video for the Elden Ring DLC, which is his first video content of any kind since February 29. I also started an Inform 7 project to implement storylets, though I wouldn't finish until Thursday. In the evening, I finished the cabbage soup while we watched early The Venture Bros. episodes. I made the mistake of launching Vampire Survivors, which singlehandedly kept me up until past 2 AM.
Monday: tired, but I finished my weekly project and made some progress on the other one. My supervisor confirmed that the support work I'd done over the weekend surpassed their threshold of acceptability, so I'll continue this work on the weekends to come. I told Julie I'd wait a week before accompanying her to Quizzo, because I didn't feel up to it today. Sure enough, as soon as she'd left and I had a shower, I wound up crashing in the egg chair for a couple of hours. I got up again five minutes before she returned, had my salad for dinner while watching this Disco Elysium stream, and proceeded to write this update. I'd meant to go shopping while she was out, but I guess that can wait. Tomorrow's going to be too busy, but at least I was able to cut up some carrots to have with this hummus in the interim. I'm going to do a bit of FFXIV before bed.
Sunday: Into the Breach had a big update over the summer, and today was the last day I'd play it for at least a year.
