Monday: work continues much the same as it has the past few days. Since it's no longer the weekend, I didn't have much support work to provide, but I had a briefing regarding some upcoming amenity package changes. My project progresses, but no end is in sight.
On breaks, I switched between some Portal 2 videos and the NieR Automata playthrough I'd been watching. I finished the lunch meat and the pepper jack cheese. After work, we did Stogie Joe's again with Phil, though I was less excited by the bucket of beers we got for the table than the cider I'd had last week. We came in third place after the tiebreaker round. Once we got back home, I dove into FFXIV, completing the Buried Memory post-Endwalker storyline.

I'm not sure when I set it up, but at some point I'd set up Julie with an Xbox Live account, and today she actually obtained the account info and shared it on Facebook. I presume this was for Grand Theft Auto IV.
I brought Julie to my parents' house for a game of Balderdash. During the course of the game, I introduced a word of my own fabrication, proximony, which I defined as a situation introduced as a pretext to accomplish a concealed goal, such as that of a marriage proposal. I then proposed to her, and she accepted, but she was initially too blindsided with rage about the fact that I would make up a word to recognize exactly what was happening. After we left, we had to go visit Joy and Tarl so she could reveal the news and show them the engagement ring.
