Saturday: felt cold enough during my shift that I brought the space heater out of the bedroom and set it up in the office. I had my first chicken sandwich in months for lunch today, since I felt like I needed to make a dent in the mayonnaise stockpile. Once my shift ended, we walked down to Human Robot to sample their drinks. It was packed, and Godzilla vs Megalon was playing on the TV. Julie got the sour and I got the cider. For dinner, Julie prepared a bean and spinach soup which both took me a while to consume and caused me no end of gas tonight. We watched more It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia; I enjoy these early episodes with Frank and the group settling into their groove. After we wrapped up, John curled up on my jacket while I was wearing it, and Cliff found his way under the blanket draped on the ottoman, so the cats are feeling the cold as much as I am.

This was the day of our departure from the Select Button Meetup, I think? The preceding weekend were in Branson, MO, and weather turned truly awful, stranding many of those folks who had to fly out. We were able to drive home without too many issues.
