Saturday: we need to update the thermostat controls for the winter months, because the heat doesn't seem to kick on unless the temperature drops below 62 degress F, which is a little low for my comfort. I've been staying up too late, so at work, I've been napping during my first break, taking a shower and eating on my lunch period, and then taking another nap on my third break. Once work was done, we ate leftover Thanksgiving food while watching an episode of Buffy. Once I was done eating, we switched to Bob's Burgers and played another game of Civ VI, since the last one we'd played last week had been kind of abortive. This time around, I had been trying for a cultural victory with the Cree, but Julie didn't have much of a plan as Greece. The game was starting to drag on, so I pivoted to a diplomatic victory by building a city where I could make the Statue of Liberty to get the last few diplomatic points I needed.
After Julie went to bed, I watched a video on obscure mechanics in Vampire Survivors, and the information proved helpful enough that I was able to immediately get my first 31+ minute run, plus I was able to eliminate the guardians that appear when collecting the various rings and simliar cursed items. Naturally, this meant that I went to bed far, far later than I should have.
Thursday: cleaned up the apartment in preparation for a catsitter coming by so we could coordinate for our departures next month. I made spaghetti for dinner, but most of my time was caught up in livestreams: Joseph Anderson's Va-11 Hall-A and Lauren the Flute's Disco Elysium. I also kept up on the games I've been playing lately.

Sunday: on our way home from Missouri, we stopped at Big Brutus so I could show Julie the steam shovel. She was impressed. It was a cold day, slightly cloudy, and I was wearing wearing my light grey jacket (the same one I have on exactly nine years later). Most of the photos have my hood up and my fists shoved as deep into my pockets as I can get them.

Monday: on facebook, I grumbled about how much I hated having to get out to work on cold winter mornings.
